AOS 4x20 FULL REACTION

Here we go with another emotional and crazy episode of AoS!

AOS 4x20 FULL REACTION

Comments

Juli. I think you are the first reactor to this episode that I have watched that is a parent. IT IS SO REFRESHING to see someone react appropriately to Mack's response. Most reactors were upset at Mack's decision or upset at Daisy for not forcing him through the portal. They did not understand the relationship between a parent and their child. There is no way, not even in that specific situation, that I would ever abandon my children. Thank you for that reaction.

Sarah Newcomer

These full length reactions are the best. Thanks Juli

omg same it caught me off guard the first time so i cracked up and now every time i see it again i have to chuckle

Leopold Fitz

So Juli would like some more pain?

Lens G Sol

What!? I had no idea about that. That's really interesting though, I wonder why they decided to kill him like that? because couldn't the just have said that the terragenesis killed him?

I loved this reaction!! I'm don't really cry when watching tv shows, but seeing you react to what Mack did...I couldn't keep the tears in XD! I wanted to explain a bit about this episode: one of the reasons I love this show is that there's always consequences after traumatic experiences. When a Storyline/event ends, they don't just go back to being their previous selves, they change and the characters get a new layer added to them. This show does that really well! What's really important to understand about the framwork is that the team (except for Jemma and Daisy I believe) have all lived an entire lifetime inside the framework! They have memories from when they were children, to the moment they left the framwork. So just because Coulson, May and Fitz entered the real world and got back their real life memories, doesn't mean that their framework memories disappears. To simplify it, they basically have memories from two people but in one mind/body. This could have been part of the reason Fitz called AIDA Ophelia and did listen when when May told him to move.

Billieboi

Fitz called the flesh and blood version of AIDA Ophelia 'cause that's the version that was created. It was the consciousness of Ophelia from the framework, who was human in the Framework. If you notice, Ophelia didn't act like AIDA even though she had her knowledge and memories. She had emotions and wasn't bound by programming. AIDA was emotionless and was bound by programming. So, thinking about it, when The Doctor asked to come with her, if he had've created a body for himself, like one was created for Ophelia, it stands to reason that Fitz's original body would've died and the new body would have the consciousness from the framework in it, a.k.a. The Doctor. The transfer would've killed the old Fitz for good.

Thadman

When Ophelia grabs Fitz and disappears, that was everyone's reaction. It was a collective "WHAT?!?" You should look for some other reactors' reactions to that and you'll see. xD

Thadman

By the way, terragenesis isn't what killed Trip. He kicked the Diviner and it exploded and shards of it went into his chest. That was hard to tell. It took me many times AND someone else telling me that's what happened, even though I did know there were shards of the Diviner in him. I thought it just exploded on its own.

Thadman

I don't know why but it cracks me UP when Ophelia is told that Fitz' father was killed and she goes "Whuh?" I had to rewind it and watch it about 3x the first time I saw it. xD

Thadman

Yes, it looks like our team can remember both their Framework lives and their real lives. *And both feel completely real*

Tom Sinclair

Mack was such a good character and his arc this season is just so depressing. The doctor is ruthless and again I have to praise this show. They could have done the normal trope character loses memory but regains it after a character says they love you but they didn’t

What a great reaction again Juli! Thanks so much for doing this AoS week, it was such blast to rewatch the best story arc of this show so far along with you. You're doing an incredible job with reacting to all of these shows and putting out so many cool videos each week, thanks again for that! That being said and seeing your reactions to the past couple of episodes, i hope you'll survive the next two, be prepared as well as you possibly can, you'll need all of it :D

a cool little tidbit: fitz is constantly wiggling the fingers of his left hand-- that's his "bad hand" aka the one he had trouble with after his brain injury. always wondered if that was something that was put in the script or if it was an acting choice by iain. either way i love it. iain de caestecker has to be one of my favorite actors of all time tbh he's just so incredible and it's amazing seeing where he started to where he is now. i kinda hate that he's so good sometimes bc they always make him do stuff that makes me cry!!!! stop being so good iain so fitz can get a break!!!

Linsey Morris

Sometimes this show just punches you in the heart. Haha. I've never made it through this episode without crying.
