Here is the thing about Selina and Alfred - yes, by normal conventions you shouldn't hit a kid but Selina outright committed murder by shoving someone who was defenseless and not a physical and present threat at that moment out of a window, someone whom Alfred was running around trying to save and figure out what's going on while neither Bruce nor Selina said anything while they knew Alfred was out searching the whole time - Selina did it and not only lied to Alfred, but also made Bruce lie to Alfred and become an accomplice to murder - this is also the same Selina who just a few episodes ago was okay with watching Jim and Harvey and Falcone get killed by Fish - and while Selina does what she can and sides with who she can to survive, Alfred is valid in seeing a threat in her - she got Bruce involved in a murder, that can cause a lot of trouble and her presence can set Bruce down a path that Alfred doesn't want him to follow. It's clear that while Alfred was out of commission, Selina got into Bruce's life and Alfred had to ensure she would exit. Selina made it clear she was a clear and present danger as any adult by consistently involving herself in an adult world and doing things that carry adult consequences. She's not an innocent little kid unfortunately. Alfred wasn't going to throw her in jail because then it would implicate Bruce being there, so the only way is to ensure that she exits his life for good. Reggie may not matter much to us as a viewing audience, but remember that this was Alfred's friend, someone whom at one point in time that Alfred trusted with his life and they fought in wars together, Alfred wanted to help Reggie sort things out because he knew Reggie was in a dark place - Alfred himself was once in that dark place and if he hadn't been lucky to run into the Waynes, he might have ended up like Reggie, so for Alfred, he was trying to save his friend from the darkness and now Selina just gone and murdered him. Alfred's action towards Selina may not be nice, but I think we are forgetting the emotions behind his response to Selina.
