Thank you sm for this lovely comment. I will for sure try the things you mentioned because the pain is very bad once the pills starts to wear off. I was thinking about getting a recliner. That would be my next purchase next month, maybe I will find a good deal since Xmas is coming. Again, thank you for your comment it really will help me moving forward.

Work at a job where sitting in an office chair all day long is my life. Tried all sorts of cushions and pillows for my back pain before relenting and getting an orthopedic cushion. That has helped me quite a lot. Has a cutout where your tail bone goes so you don't compress your spine and the nerves therein as much. Also have a padded stool under my desk for putting my feet up. It's mostly for my bad knee, but also helps my back a little by forcing me to lean back and recline a bit. At home, my chair of preference is my recliner. Best thing I've found for dealing with back pain. Hope you feel better soon. (Have had two back surgeries for herniated discs. While they aren't fun and recovery takes a few weeks, the relief they provided was well worth it.)

Juli in no way are you selfish or annoying. Please do not feel bad. We are all here in support of YOU. yes we love the perks of Patreon but all of us here are in support of you. So that is why we understand when things like this happen. This is life and it’s not going to 100% perfect for you every single day, of course there will be hardships and days where you will not come through and we understand that. We care about your health and do not want to see you in any pain. I would not enjoy seeing you reacting to a video where you are not feeling 100% great. So please, rest up. I will be praying for you and hope everything goes great. Love you Juli, try not to get too upset over this ❤️❤️❤️

I am so sorry Juli! I hope the doctors help you feel better. My friend went through a similar situation a few years ago, so I know how rough it is. Please don't force yourself to do more than you're capable of in your state.

Thanks and of COURSE you take care of yourself and Josh first. The reason I signed up, simply, is for the uncut AoS reactions and to help you with Josh. Then I moved up a tier for the uncut movie reactions. So, I don't expect you to break your back (literally) to get this content to me/us. I appreciate that you want to do more, but definitely don't feel bad about having to keep yourself well.

Don’t feel pressured into doing more reactions than you feel you can. It’s not worth a complication or even the pain you could get from being tense by watching stuff like (as much as it pains me to say because it’s my favorite show you react to) Agents of Shield. That show really puts stress on the body XD. Here’s a tip for when you do reactions. Get a medium-sized cushion, preferably one that is wider than it is tall (a rectangle instead of a square shape is what i’m getting at), place it so that is supports your lower back when you seat down and try to lean back while you are seating. Boom, instant good posture. It takes some getting used to because we tend to forget and lean forward all the time when something exciting happens on screen but I promise, having lumbar support works wonders. Also if you do get a new couch. May i suggest something comfy that reclines, specifically one where you can adjust how much you recline. Reclining stuff can get pricey but if you can afford it, you’ll have many more options when it comes to getting comfortable. I have one that i don’t even recline very much at all but that’s my sweet spot, just slightly reclined. With that and my lower back support, I’m golden. After that it’s just a matter of figuring out where the screen and camera can sit for things to looks good which could be tricky but all that comes second, really. Wow, when I started, i didn’t think i would write this much. TL:DR: - Don’t feel pressured to do more than you can. - Get something to support your lower back. - Try to lean back or at least not lean forwards for long periods of time. - If you can afford something that reclines to an adjustable angle it can be a big help in regards to finding a comfortable position. EDIT: I forgot to mention it... But I have a lower back problem as well. It's not yet a hernia, mind you, but I thought it was important to mention. The things I'm suggesting are things make things better for me and I wanted to pass them along. Mucha mucha suerte Juli. Que todo salga bien. EDIT 2: Sorry to make this so long but, one last thing. If you can't find a cushion that makes you comfortable (it can be a struggle). Try a memory foam pillow (which is what i use), one of those that has two ridges one bigger than the other. I think that's the standard one so it won't be hard to find. when seating, place it with the ridges facing back, with the smaller ridge at the top and the bigger one at the bottom. I didn't suggest pillows right off the bat because they can reach too high up the back (thus not being lower back support) but memory foam compresses more where more weight is put on it so it doesn't really raise your mid back, for me it's super comfortable.
