She doesn’t need AOS to understand the movie but I don’t want the movie to effect her AOS reactions for more then half the season if it doesn’t have to. I think the best experience is always the original way it came out. Would you want her to have watch the movies out of order too. Same idea but on a smaller scale. She doesn’t have to but it would be the better experience then watching it halfway through the fifth season instead of near the end like most of us did.

You got the pronunciation correct of Mjolnir (mee-YOL-neer) and the translation of it is "the grinder" or "Crusher." I'm gonna miss it. (*sniff*) I'd heard that in the comics, it was shown to be alive, in the sense that Odin imprisoned a sentient cosmic storm inside this Uru metal and made it into a hammer and IT decides who is "worthy" enough to wield it. At times, it decided that Odin himself wasn't worthy so he couldn't lift it. Thor also. That's when "Thor" became female because it deemed that Jane was worthy so she became "Thor" while Thor Odinson was deemed unworthy. Very interesting concept.

One thing I don't know if it was mentioned, but the Grand Master is the brother of The Collector (that we saw in Guardians of the Galaxy and the end credit scene of Thor: The Dark World) played by Benicio del Toro. They are part of a group called The Elders of the Universe.

All Asgardians are...sturdy and long-lived. Not all are warriors, but compared to humans, they all are god-like in how long they live (thousands of years). Remember the professor on AoS who used to be a berserker. Also, the question you were asking at the end, "What is that?" is pretty much the question you're supposed to ask at all end credit scenes, since they are teases. But, if you couldn't see, it was a much larger ship that arose in their path.

Yes Juli, the Valkyrie that protected her in the battle with Hela was indeed her lover. S'why she doesn't wanna think about it. There was a deleted scene that showed that. Don't know if it's on the blu ray or not. I don't have it yet. I knew you'd like her. She's bisexual, like you. ;-) It's nice to have choices. xD

I'm so in love with this movie and it's great to see how you love it too. I think this was the 5th or 6th time (or even more) i've seen this and this only came out a little over a year ago :D I always loved the Thor movies and this one was just the cherry on top. Only thing i disliked was the absence of Lady Sif but when they called Jamie Alexander (the actress) to be in the movie, she was already busy with her tv show and couldnt make it. Which is really a shame. But anyways i gotta say Juli, you really need a new scale before Infinity War. Because it will crush the 10/10 scale and then won't be enough to rate it :D

you can watch Black Panther and Infinite War anytime, you do not have to watch AOS to understand anything, and in my view there's no spoiler since they do not even mention AOS in the movies

Carine Allen

The reason It should be after twenty is because that’s when it aired originally and the events in infinity war will make her start asking questions that would be answered closer to the end of the season then in the middle of it. I want her to have the same experience we did with watching AOS and Infinity war. It came out near the end of season 5. I don’t want it effecting her viewing of the season 5 in a negative way. It’s like saying she doesn’t have to watch the movies in order. It will enhance her experience to wait. Maybe she should do a poll. It’s her choice no pressure here.

Christopher simeon

the hilarious part about that play at the beginning was, that Loki was actually played by Matt Damon and Thor was played by Chris Hemsworth's brother (not Liam, the other one) :D

in my opinion there is no real need to watch Infinity War after ep20. you can watch it basically at any point of the season of AoS, somewhere between ep 15-20 would be good. but it hasnt to be especially before or after a certain episode.

Loved you're reaction, Thor Ragnarok is also my favourite along with infinity war. And Thor was amazing in this movie you can clearly see his growth through the movies.

Anouar

My favorite Stan Lee cameo! The man who dares to cut Thor's hair. :)

Jarrod Wild

Reread my comment. I said ONE of the best

Same!

Billieboi

And Hela is definitely one of the best Marvel villains imo

Bejo

Thor ragnarok is definitely one of my top 3 marvel movies. I’m so glad you enjoyed it

Bejo

Oh my God, I'm watching your reaction from AOS 5x09 at the moment, but as soon as I'm done I'm going to watch this one! I am so excited !!! It's my favorite Thor movie.

Carine Allen

You don't really need to wait for Infinity War. There are some references to what's going on there in SHIELD, but not the other way around.

Adam Nelson

CANT WAIT TO SEE THIS RN

Freya

I have been looking forward to this soooo much.
