AOS 5x11 FULL REACTION

I'm sorry this took so long to be posted, I didn't had internet until like 4pm due to some issues with my internet company. All it's fixed now tho.

Here's my reaction to this episode. I just can't believe they did this to my Yo-Yo :'(

Btw... lower your volume... I got even louder lol

AOS 5x11 FULL REACTION

Comments

God *cry* YO-YO!!!!!!!!! That was so cruel, unexpected and did I mention cruel and ... *speechless* I mean I love AoS!!!!! Best show ever (not only for Melinda May, but part of that ♥ ) anyways Yo-Yo! for crying out loud. That was ... I mean if anyone can recover from that trauma it is her, with Mackie by her side (love them!) but still ... god this Ruby chic has to die. The hard way and soon, please!

Jenny Schymanski

I went crazy when they mention St. Louis cause that's my home

How do I give this post more hearts?

Tom Sinclair

Just looked - the posters are really cool!

Tom Sinclair

So. Much. Yelling. And we're not even half-way through this season.

Tom Sinclair

Sitting here, this afternoon, knowing it's a Shield week and what's coming in the next episode. I'm just imagining Juli going through it. Gotta check for south american earthquakes.

Yoyo losing her arms is a thing from the comic books and they also foreshadowed this earlier in the season in ep 1 or 2 when the Kree torture her and Mack and they freeze her arms with oxygen. They said to her "on some point the arms will just fall off". Everyone knowing about the comics thought it would already happen at that point. Loved your emotional reaction to the whole episode, but i hope you'll understand the motivations of the characters like Ruby or Piper a little better. They did both wrong things, but it's totally understandable why they did it. The time thing: they came back to the Lighthouse, which is an old secret SHIELD base in case of an catastrophic event. It's a prerecorded video that automatically plays when someone enters the base. It was probably recorded in the 70s and that's why this guy mentions the 70s.

Sascha Koch

best comment, couldn't have said it any better. You explained the motivations of each character perfectly on point.

Sascha Koch

The Asgardian spotted in the city was actually Thor when he went to New York with Loki to find his father. This episode takes place at the same time as Ragnarok did.

Sascha Koch

apparently natalia has wanted them to cut of yoyo's arms for years now and she was so excited for them to finally do it since that's how she is in the comics lol. and noah wasn't trying to stop the bomb from exploding, he was just trying to soften the blow. he sacrificed himself to save the team just like enoch did. also YES you can find that quake poster online! it's fanmade! the artist has made one for every member of the team, here's her shop on redbubble: https://www.redbubble.com/people/sarahmosc?ref=artist_title_name since marvel barely has any aos merch, the fans have taken it upon themselves to make some.

Linsey Morris

Not exactly, just like how there were two Elenas in the future, there are now two versions of Fitz coexisting in the same time. It's still the same person yes, but physically there are two of them

Brian Robles

There is only one Fitz

Egil Hellá

Short Answers: Present Time, after Fitz left earth, base was built in the late 60's or early 70's. It's old.

Best reactions to the situations panning out Juli,be exited U will get emotionally surprised through out the season. And The Asgardian they spotted is Thor , remember from Thor Ragnarok two girls took a selfie with Thor so , eventually it get's posted on internet. Waiting for the 100th episode from u.

The correlation between Deke saving Daisy and crew in the beginning of the season. “What did I say about trusting Virgil?” Then Daisy saving Deke. “What did we say about wandering off?” Lol

Jonathan Jones

Deke made it back because remember, they used part of the shard to activate the full monolith, so the fact that Deke was standing to a piece of the shard in the machine meant that he got swallowed up too when the monolith activated and causing the part of the shard to activate as well. The team is back in present day time - it's after Fitz and Hunter's escape, it's simply that Lighthouse bunker was built back in the olden days before the 1980s got here, so everything inside the Lighthouse is old because it was made and planned to be activated decades ago and because the event they were planning for never went ahead, it just sat here decades later gathering dust until now. YoYo losing her arms is also actually a nod to the comics-YoYo who has cybernetic hands. As for Piper, remember, Hale took command after Talbot, and the team trusted Talbot for a long time as their ally, so there's no reason for Piper to think that someone who took over for Talbot and worked with Talbot would then come after the team, especially when once she explained what happened. Piper isn't being stupid or dumb, she simply thought that if they could trust Talbot before, then Hale willing to listen and guarantee everyone's safety meant she could trust her too, just like the team trusted Talbot before. It's not Piper's fault that Hale lied to her and couldn't be trusted - just like the two people that Hale killed, Piper simply trusted a manipulative two-faced woman. Piper did it because she thought that they would all get to go home and stop hiding, that finally someone like Talbot would listen and they don't have to run anymore. Nothing she did was with any bad intentions. And again, it's not her being dumb or naive, they trusted Talbot before who has spent the last few years standing up for SHIELD, so it's not unreasonable or stupid for Piper to think that Hale may be someone they could trust too, like Talbot was. And remember, Hale guaranteed capture, not kill, and that was her intent too, so even being as manipulative as she is, Hale wasn't lying and Piper was telling the truth, it was Ruby who went out of the bounds of orders. And for Ruby, yes she did cut off YoYo's arms, but note that she is a teenager, likely raised and locked up on that base if you look at the way her door outside has guards - with someone manipulative as Hale as a parent raising her to fight, is it any wonder that she's not right in the head? And for Creel, again, Hale is manipulative, she says one thing to someone, and says another thing to another, Creel has been brainwashed and used numerous times, he also knows that someone like Hale is not going to stop coming after him so he was either going to go "voluntarily" or be dragged there anyways and possibly get brainwashed again. And again, if Creel trusted Talbot before, then it would induce him to be more likely to trust someone who took over for Talbot. It's important to realize that with Talbot in a coma, the perception of the team and the world is a lot different, which means people like Piper and Creel are stuck in positions they don't necessarily want to be because they aren't the people holding all the cards, they're just the people being used and manipulated despite their best intentions. Right before the team left, the world still thinks that SHIELD, specifically Daisy, killed Director Mace and then people "saw" Daisy shoot Talbot. We need to look at how characters who were left behind while the team went off to space with a different perspective because the characters left behind had to deal with the fallout for months while the team was away, and it wasn't an easy situation, especially when the world thinks SHIELD took down two high-level ranking people in Mace and Talbot. The only person who is to truly blame is Hale, she is the one causing all of this - she manipulated Piper, she's using Creel, and she raised Ruby. It all leads back to her, so if anyone should take the FULL blame, it should be Hale. AOS is certainly a show with a lot of shocking moments that they lay the breadcrumbs for, like with YoYo losing her arms which you see it coming in hindsight. But in the midst of all the YoYo drama, another breadcrumb has been sneakily thrown in that I'm curious if you will notice :D

Artemis9991

Yeah... It doesn't make me feel better 😭😭😭 hahaha I love this show sm tho

JuliDG

Juli dear, if it makes you feel any better..... Yo-Yo "Slingshot" Rodriguez is a character in the Marvel comics. And the character doesn't have arms either. So at least you know that the show didn't just make that up.

Alvin Cura

Yeah, rewatching the season made me notice a lot of foreshadowing. A few episodes ago I noticed something else that was foreshadowed, and it just made me realize how good the writers are at throwing in little hints this season

Bejo

This episode shocked us all. We couldn’t believe it. They cut of yo-yos arms. They did some foreshadowing in the premiere when the kree were trying to freeze her arms. Mack said something like I thought you were going to lose these.

Christopher simeon

Oh yes Juli, you should react to it.....

Alvin Cura

Juli at the start of the episode: I love Ruby! Juli at the end: She must die!!!! xDDDDDDD Omg. You have no idea. I cannot wait for tomorrows episode, this week is so perfect. <3 Love you Juli.

Leopold Fitz

Yeah it does. Why?

JuliDG
