TVD 7x15 FULL REACTION

This season could've been so good. I mean, it started off great. It felt better when everyone was kind of dealing with one giant storline, obviously with subplots but ultimately one big bad, One upcoming main problem. For this season so far we've literally had 3 big villains. Julian (I don't really count the heretics as they were just the lead up to him), Rayna and the Armory. It's too much, and then it makes the plot confusing and too much to handle because nothing really connects. The first, lets say 9 episodes of the season were great but then when Rayna comes along, it split off into a different storyline while we're still dealing with Julian and Julian and Rayna had a past but then it makes you think, what was the point if they never interact now. And then they bring in the armory, which could've been a way better storyline but it fell flat and felt so plain, and even though they're connected to Rayna as you will see they're not just there for Rayna. It's just all too much and everyone is split off, with Caroline and Alaric is Dallas. Matt in MF, Stefan LITERALLY all over the place, Damon and Bonnie also just everywhere. It doesn't feel like TVD we know and love.

It's really fascinating, because I never missed Elena at all. I guess to shippers her exit was more significant. From a storytelling point of view her absence has literally no impact.

I don’t understand why Stefan didn’t just kill Matt when he threatened him? Like why keep him alive. You want to live in the town you grew up in, Matt - the human - threatens you out, you’re vampire and can easily kill him off. Why would you let that happen, why would you just take the threat and move away? Urgh. Matt and Enzo are to me the most annoying characters. Enzo’s storyline and existence in this show so far has been pointless... Season 6, his obsession with revenge for Stefan, following that chick Sara Salvatore, just being annoying and getting in everyone’s way.

Yeah, I also think the first half of the season was not very good, but in fact I never really missed Elena hahaha my favorite episode is 7x19! and I think the episodes look better after that. Ps: I also hate Matt this season, actually, he could have died long ago

I can't wait to get to watch the final season of this amazing show tbh. Yeah S7 might not be my favorite but it's still better than other shows lol

Matt really irritated me in this season. I never had much of an opinion about him until he became so annoying and critical. There's an upcoming episode where I literally wanted to reach through the TV and smack him. Hope you're having an amazing holiday season!!

Season 7 in terms of storyline really lacked for me. Although there were amazing moments, the show wasn't able to hook me the way it used to in the earlier seasons. In my opinion, I think you will enjoy season 8 much more because in terms of storyline, the show sort of picks up its "hook" and we are introduced to a great, new character that sets the tone for most of the season. Can't wait until you get to season 8 and Legacies! Looking forward to 2019.
