This show definitely got cut too early. But unfortunately it wasn't bringing in the numbers like Gilmore Girls had so they decided to resurrect that show and cut Bunheads which although I love Gilmore Girls, I do think Bunheads deserved one more season. Fun fact, the guy who was playing the piano is actually the same person who accompanies Sutton Foster during Broadway auditions and so on which is great that he had a cameo. I think they did do their best to wrap things up when they realized there wasn't going to be a season 2, but I think they also wanted to leave it open in case minds were changed, but unfortunately that never happened.
