So, Blu Ray being Blu Ray, I couldn't rip it. I also have the DVD somewhere in storage, which is far easier for me to rip.

Dr. Horrible was made during the writers' strike back in 2007-08, and cost a few hundred thousand bucks, financed by Joss. None of the actors or crew took a salary and got money from DVD profits.

On Agents of Shield, Coulson mentioned the Evil League of Evil in a season 5 episode. :)

And here is from the Emmy broadcast itself. 3:08 long. https://youtu.be/gQS_KYAPvF4. I also just realized that the Zima joke for Deke Fitzsimmons Shaw began here. :)

Felicia Day is a good friend of Maurissa Tancharoen (the MAOS showrunner, and sister of the director of the Skye one-shot action sequence). So much so that when Maurissa was very sick with lupus, and recovering at home, Felicia and Maurissa and Jed made an EP album. That's what they did to keep Maurissa's spirits up after chemo: they made an EP album.

BTW, I will try to see what I can find at home when I get home from work tonight (I bought the Blu Ray)

Hi Juli! Originally when we watched it, we played the YouTube video again with the sound muted, and played the Commentary audio while watching it, because they are real time. It's like commentary on DVD/Blu Ray, where you watch the film while listening to the commentary real-time. It can be found at https://play.google.com/music/m/Bxv5533y5ogkg6rf5vqhhrars44?t=Commentary_The_Musical_-_Various_Artists

A *very* different kind of commentary. But it also shows what a family environment they create, which seems quite obvious to be part of the Agents of SHIELD cast and crew as well.

Yeah, the first season was the fan-supported one. The corporate sponsors for the subsequent seasons of The Guild probably had contract terms to pull it. Although my next contributed suggestion for Juli might be The Guild, because Maurissa is in it also.

If you look on Spotify or you tube for commentary! The musical. you can just start it at the same time as the Dr h video and mute the video. It's a very different kind of commentary

Actually, you can see in the credits that both Jed Whedon and Marissa Tancharoen (the Agents of Shield showrunners) play roles in the movie. Marissa is one of Captain Hammer's creepy fans. She's the girl on the left. Jed is harder to spot, he's part of the trio that sings Bad Horse's correspondence, top left when they first appear. Penny is played by Felicia Day, I don't know if you've seen Buffy the Vampire Slayer, she played a small role in the 7th season. As with this movie, Buffy was also directed by Joss Whedon, Joss tends to work with actors more than once, i love that about him. Case in point, Nathan Fillion (Captain Hammer), was in Firefly, another TV series Joss directed after Buffy. Felicia Day, among other things, is also known for a web series called The Guild, which she produced and starred in. It's hard to find the show anywhere online these days but it was amazing, I wish it was still on youtube in it's entirety for you to react to, you would have loved the characters. But sadly, only the first season remains on its official channel. My favorite songs from the movie are "My Eyes" which is the duet between Billy and Penny, the one where you talked about the harmonies. And "Everything You Ever", which is the last song. Keep it up Juli, I'm glad you have now reacted to one more thing in the Whedon-verse. EDIT: By the by, I don't know what it is about it, but "Everything You Ever" always moves me to tears. It did so once more while watching your reaction tonight.
