I would love this to become an anthology series like American Horror Story. "The Haunting Of..." with each season having a different cast, setting and story. Something like that with Flanagan would be great, and he wouldn't run it into the ground the way Ryan Murphy ran AHS into the ground. Excited for episode 10! Is Shameless coming today?

2019-01-30 20:40:38 +0000 UTCThere were other writers involved in a number of episodes, but the rest is true, Flanagan was pretty much in charge of it all. Flanagan himself said he doesn't see how he would create another season of this story with these characters, but an anthology like American Horror Story could be possible. I would very much prefer there not be a season 2. I only hope that Netflix can see it the same way, instead of looking at it from a business perspective, trying to squeeze more money out of the show.

Its quite popular, I don't think its a matter of whether they'd like to, I think its whether or not they can do a story that is as good.... you will find in the end most of the questions and mystery is answered, so it would be really hard for them to do another story in this house and keep the same level of intrigue. I have the feeling it may just be a single season....sometimes its just better when you have a masterpiece to leave it at that :) Also, the show runner did all the writing, directing and editing himself.... it really his his masterpiece.
