2019-02-23 14:09:06 +0000 UTCThe second season of "Helix" is very different than the first. I did like the first season better, just in the sense of the story arc vein. Not so much making a judgment call of which season is "better." It just felt, story-wise, pretty removed from the 1st season, even if many of the characters were the same. I did like that actress on both seasons though.

2019-02-20 15:57:01 +0000 UTCGod I love this show. As for the 'not sure it worked because we're still here' im not so sure. I think like some other time travel shows even if they change it so they're never born the current them won't just dissapear. Because then they wouldn't have existed to make the changes that make it so they're never born. If that makes sense lol. The show doesn't really outright tell you stuff, you have to make assumptions and deductions And the engineer knew she probably wouldn't be able to turn the key "I guess it's too much to ask that I be the one who turns the k.." and since everyone in the building (and more) would die, the director could now use the military guys to send travelers. Some people ask why not just go for the boss(Gleason) - some say they were randomly chosen, some say that they traveled into Gleason last so that he would have used all his bullets and be unable to kill himself.

As I've said before, I always thought this show was far superior to all of the other time travel shows. Of course I won't spoil anything, but I will say the intrigue is just getting started.
