Ik what queerbaiting is. They always give us a little scene with Choni and then not actually develop the characters outside their relationship and all we do is wait for little moments for them. So yeah we are been queerbaited with Choni.

I get you point but no one force Reggie to do anything. And I'm sorry but I'm not emotional invested on Reggie or Veggie to actually pay attention to them and see the parallels. They are there tho but I just don't care. I'm sorry if it's not something you were expecting but to me Reggie is a very boring character. He wanted to guilt trip Veronica to take him as a partner. Everyone wants a piece of what Veronica worked very hard to get. And she is clear with him and not playing games. She doesn't want a relationship or a business partner. She wants to do things her way and she can't bc everyone think they know how to do things better than her. And that has to annoy her. Anyways, sorry that I just don't care about Reggie and Veggie, I just don't find anything interesting with them.

Um I feel like this needs to be mentioned because I keep seeing people miss use it
"Queerbaiting is the practice of hinting at, but then not actually depicting, a same-sex romantic relationship between characters in a work of fiction, mainly in film or television. The potential romance may be ignored, explicitly rejected or made fun of."

I'm honestly not even the tiniest bit invested in Veronica x Reggie, but there's a certain irony to me in how you react to Choni vs Veronica x Reggie, which is that there are a lot of parallels between the two pairings and this episode highlighted them (for example with Toni paying rent anbd considering moving out and Reggie wanting his car back)... and yet you trash talk Reggie and support Toni^^ Both Toni and Reggie are with someone, who is the "dominant" one, who has to have their will and is the "owner" of things (except Cheryl wants to share it with Toni, whereas Veronica doesn't). Veronica has every right to not want Reggie as a business partner, but he has every right to feel used... because he is. Veronica uses him as an errand boy, as a bodyguard, as a maid, for sex, but she doesn't give in return - not even on an emotional level, which is what his problems this episode essentially boiled down too. Just like Veronica has every right to not want a business partner or to keep things casual, he has the right to want more and leave if Veronica isn't willing/capable to give him that.
I very much love Choni and hope they work things out, but I feel like Reggie doesn't deserve the trash talking. I think this is the most invested I've been in Reggie this entire show :D
(didn't care one bit about the 25224th reiteration of "oh no, my parent is a criminal", which the show has been doing since season 1 or the whole Archie plot, so I'm with you there :D)
