I actually do like the separate story episodes focusing on one character that help fill out the character and make them more 3-dimensional. Usually shows do that so that they can expand on that stuff later, showing what their motivations are and how they've changed and what that means for the character. Or sometimes for more comedic affect. I'm not the type of person that ever had issues with my parents, but I don't judge people too harshly who do because, well, I'm not them and didn' t have to grow up with those people as MY parents. So, I could understand Felicity's issues with her mom, even if WE like her. They are so different from one another and I can see how they would just clash BIG TIME when she was growing up.

Don't get me wrong, but the actress is good when she play the hacker, the funny girl or when she's in love but she just can't make an emotional scene without me laughing, I can't take her seriously, the emotional acting is so bad. However, she has other qualities. By the way, when Juli is confused she's makes me laugh, she's the best. 😁
