I thought this was a great filler episode and I always really liked it!! There are definitely some cringy lines lol but I LOVE all the parallels between this universe and the real one. All the call back lines that have been said in previous episodes. I LOVE the costumes and the overall vibe, I thought it was fun!

Why does that describe their relationship perfectly though? Like, obviously they go through a lot and they do care about what's going on with everyone else. But while everyone else is going through shit and making mistakes and failing at relationships, they're just going strong... Hahaha

I love a noir based episode but it was so over the top cheesy and the nonstop violence against women was.... a lot. Like a lot. Like if you compare this noir style episode to PLL's noir style episode.... PLL blew this out of the water. They don't do that very often LOL

I loved this episode, it does makes sense, the idea that Nathan and haley are meant to be even in a different universe, the idea of Lucas being afraid of Peyton getting hurt and then in the real world his fear happens in the end of the episode, the idea of dan being the villain in his other universe and still the villain in his current life, the idea that Julian is someone Lucas cant trust which is how he felt about knowing Julian and Peytons relationship, the idea that Brooke is broke because In the real life her company is gone to Victoria. The idea of Nathan going away similar to him trying to get scouted and going away from the family and the idea of haley being a singer like she was in her real life. This episode had style and interpretations that you have to really think to see the parallels in Lucas dream VS his real life. I think if you actually view the writing and story of this Alternate Universe, you'd actually like it. Instead of watching it as a weird and unusual story setting. I loved it!!

I've only watched it twice before this reaction and I probably won't ever watch it again. It's fine, and there are things I really enjoy, like Haley singing, but it's just not one that I care about.

I don’t care if it doesn’t progress the story, just to see the characters I love in a different universe is everything. I read too many fics man.
