Brulian is my #1 ship on this show, both of these characters are my number 1’s. I was soooo damn happy when Brooke found her person, she deserved it.

BUT, he didn't actually do anything with her. He did keep telling her to stop and yes, he should've deleted the picture immediately. But my thing is, they were in a committed relationship for a while. Mouth is in love with Millie, Millie is in love with Mouth. And they weren't having sex because Millie wasn't ready. And that's perfectly fine. Mouth was respecting that. And he could've gone and slept with Gigi because Millie wasn't ready, and it'd be awful, but a lot of guys do it. (Still would be shitty...) But he didn't, because he is in love with Millie. He was willing to wait until Millie was ready, because to him, she's worth that. But then she goes and gets drunk and just sleeps with a random guy. And yes, it's her body, her virginity. It's up to her who she does what with and when. But I think it would hurt a lot, to know that you've been in a serious relationship with someone for ages, respecting their boundaries because you KNOW they're not ready for sex, and then as soon as you fight, or break up, or whatever, they go and have sex with someone else. It almost makes it seem like the relationship just meant nothing. So yeah. Millie was wrong for having sex with Owen. Mouth was wrong for not deleting the picture of Gigi. They both should've communicated better through the whole thing. Gigi should've fucked off and left their relationship alone after Mouth said multiple times to her that he wasn't interested. Well actually she should've left their relationship alone as soon as she found out they were in a relationship... But I can completely understand why Mouth was upset with Millie. And he has every right to be...

LMAO There's like so many fantastic things happening for the show like they are the least important thing on my radar, as if we're supposed to be conflicted or something, he shouldn't flirt with his assistant and she shouldn't have cheated on him, it's pretty simple logistics here.....They were both wrong, no need for endless comparison of ethics, possibly Millie did the worst thing but let's not even get into that debate....There's no need to make mountains of it either you get past it or not...

2020-09-14 12:48:56 +0000 UTCOkay, I just watched the reaction and I can agree with you in being annoyed at Mouth because the show goes to lenghts to play him as the sympathetic side and all the wrongs he does always find a way to get swept under the carpet. That said, I do think Mouth can be upset and decide he can't be with Millicent after she slept with another man the same day she broke up with him. I was mostly irritated at Mark deciding to play their relationship like that than at Mouth right now, because the way he gets written usually ends up making the character look bad since it's obvious the intention is to have the women set up to always "wrong him" one way or another while he whines about it every season. I think Chase is the same age as our main characters so he must be 22/23 right now. So he is either 4 or 5 years older than Mia but he is sincere in his attraction to her. I’m really happy that we had this period between season 4 and season 6 where there hasn’t been a huge romance implied for Brooke (even Chase, as sweet as he was, felt kind of transitory). I think Peyton’s most important growth happened in seasons two and three where she was in that period herself (much as I liked her and Jake, he also never felt like he was there to stay) so focusing on the characters like that is one of the greatest achievements of the show. I don’t think you ever get the straight characters who will get together wrong because when straight characters fit together and have great chemistry the showrunners have no problema going there. Especially if the audience is supportive. With same sex characters, like Lena and Kara, they refuse to see it.

Now Mouth can throw darts at Owen’s face all he wants, but I too feel like this was a cop-out to make Mouth the one we should feel sorry for. Now I think they’re both equally to blame and now have to deal with the consequences.

First of all, I feel like at the core of all of this, the character of Mouth has been forever tainted in your eyes since S4 and the storyline with the Clean Teen girl. (legitimately can’t remember her name rn lol) But rightfully so. That entire thing didn’t age well and came off as if he was manipulating and pressuring her into sex. Couple that with what we got in S5, with him sleeping with his boss, it was equally as gross. Although he was being taken advantage of, he was also using it to his advantage and in the end, the woman got fired but he on the other hand got a promotion. So it feels like Mouth gets away with a lot of things because he’s supposed to be “the guy we feel sorry for”. It’s obvious that you have a fundamental problem with his character now. Completely understandable. That said, I agree with you that Millicent’s virginity is hers and it was up to her to decide what she did with it. However, I think we can recognize that without undermining how Mouth feels about it. Not that his actions weren’t shitty as well, but they technically never broke up and to have someone you love just offer themselves up to someone like a piece of meat is a heartbreaking thing. So no, you’re not wrong in how you feel but I do think both things can acceptable. Millie can chose to sleep with who she wants without having to feel like Mouth owns her body, but Mouth can also feel bitter and angry for her making that choice.

The scenes of Lucas and Peyton getting a taste of being parents were fun. And that last bit with Lucas and Nathan is very sweet. I like that they let this episode be mostly calm and chill after all the drama and stress of the last one.

It’s common to see Naley happy and everything. But getting it with Leyton is so nice. Buckle up Juli, things are going to get wild the rest of this season. In my opinion, the rest of the season is the biggest that Peyton has ever had. Also, some stuff with Brooke too. Can’t wait. ☺️

I think I even heard that they shared an apartment together while filming OTH. And that they also wrote their own tv show together and stared in it. Its called "everyone is doing great".

She was concerned about telling Brooke that she was having a baby in general because Brooke has wanted a baby for sooo long. In the scene where Peyton tells Brooke, Peyton even says that she doesn't mean to be insensitive toward Brooke b/c she knows how much Brooke wanted what Peyton is getting. That is why Peyton reassures her that Brooke will have a huge role in the baby's life.

You can see that she had her initial reaction "get out" and then took a pause and changed her mind. That is not what Brooke did in High school with Peyton. Although, Brooke was wayyy more serious with Lucas (in love with him) so it actually hurt her a lot whereas I don't think Brooke cares that much about Owen however you could see Brooke's maturity here. She has soo much good in her life, and she is happy with herself, so there is no need for her to be filled with anger, especially over a guy that is not worth it.

2020-09-14 02:16:09 +0000 UTChonestly, i’ve disliked mouth since the thing with shelly (the clean teen girl) & this whole situation could’ve been avoided if he didn’t play into gigi’s flirting and deleted that picture on his phone. of course it wasn’t a good decision for millie to sleep with owen, but she was hurt and drunk and obviously regrets it, and i think mouth is acting a bit childish tbh. besides that, this episode is so cute! i love the leyton moments with jamie & andre and then lucas & nate talking at the end! chase is back!! i love him so much, but i don’t ship him with mia. they have cute moments, but *spoiler kind of* someone comes in later that i ship him with more! brooke trying to decide if it was a date or not was so funny & then julian bringing wine lol! so exited for you to see how their relationship goes bc they’re one of my favs anyways can’t wait for the next ones- hoping they come sooner than we think👀
