2020-09-15 20:34:39 +0000 UTCYes, but they could still spin this .. they could still say they arrived too late bc of the lack of intel and that the plane was already going down when they got there (nobody saw what went down in the cockpit) ... he could've made the few kids he saved a PR spectacle - sole survivors of horrific plane attack thanks to Homelander and Queen Maeve's bravery .. Homelander just always chooses the easiest way out, plus he just doesn't care how many people die ..

Also, the girl would have been a witness to the whole thing. another bad thing, to what he was going for... Besides people responds quicker to a tragedy than a happy ending.
