2020-10-26 17:32:14 +0000 UTCI'm sorry that the kids don't remember Dani's sacrifice but Flora did save Dani first. Not just at the begining of this episode but when they stopped her from getting in Viola's way in episode 4 and during episode 1 they locked her in the closet. I think her sacrifice was honored with Flora's happiness. I just feel so sad because Dani and Jamie deserved better. Dani's fate and every character that got killed by Viola is why I can't fully feel sorry for her too.

I loved Bly Manor more but not because I can objectively say it's better (it's too soon for me to be objective as it still makes me cry) but because I just connected more with it through Dani and Jamie's love story.

2020-10-22 20:26:00 +0000 UTCIf you listen closely, it sounds like she said "Your mother, she loves you." Unfortunately it wasn't a scripted whisper and the actress doesn't remember. It is super sad, but I'm not that angry about it. We got to see them having 13 years together. Dani being by her side after death reminds me of the scene between Flora and Dani where Dani says Flora's parents will always be there with her and Flora says no, they're not.

That ending was bittersweet but also so powerful I truly loved this season, it was very different from the first one but just as perfect in my opinion. The story was incredible, the way it was executed was perfection and the acting was amazing. I'm so happy you reacted to it !
