I kind of get mad that Peyton let Dan hold Sawyer. Imagine how Lucas and Karen would feel. Sawyer would have been Keith's grandson in every way that matters. Brulian getting back together was so cute!! I love them and I love how even though they weren't together he was there for her when Peyton was in the hospital.

I feel like Leyton's drama always overshadowed her, and now we really get to see Brooke shine and get a love story of her own that is just as epic as the love she's been watching her friends experience for 6 seasons.

Season 6 still stands as my favorite adult season and my 3rd overall. It’s so damn good. I stumbled upon OTH on a rerun during middle/high school and it was 3x16. Not the best episode to see first because of spoilers but it grabbed me immediately and I’m so glad it did. Long story short, OTH means the same thing to me. It always brings me happiness, comfort and hope and so do your reactions. And I thank you for that. This show means so much to me and it makes me so happy it means so much to you as well. Can’t wait for season 7

But in all seriousness it’s so great that you’ve connect with this show in ways that I didn’t even think were possible for a newcomer. About Julian and everyone being pushy towards Brooke. Yes. The right thing to do would be for everyone to respect Brooke’s choice to open up her heart on her own terms. There’s no arguing that. But to what end? Everyone has watched Brooke self herself short for so long and be her own worst enemy. At what point should someone not be able to handle seeing her putting herself through this and speak up when they can obviously tell that she’s yet again running away from her heart? Sometimes the right thing to do isn’t always the best thing to. No one should force her to do anything she’s not ready to do but they should be able to tell her the truth as bluntly as they can, otherwise she’ll be afraid for the rest of her life.

I expect brooke and peyton to kiss every time they have an intimate scene the chemistry is just🔥. I was waiting for the scene with Whitey, and the scene with Peyton and Dan, one of my favorite scenes, the fact that Peyton could have just said no and walked away, but she allowed Dan to have a few seconds of humanity was just beautiful

Not one episode is boring and they do season finales like no other show. Even this one, where there wasn't a cliffhanger, was perfect from beginning to end. And that end quote, just wow!

Just everything about that scene makes my heart so happy. Nathan finally made this dream come true and Haley supporting him, such a beautiful moment. "Thank you for believing in me." "Thank you for being worth it." Naley really is the heart of this show. At least they are for me. Now on to Victoria. It was in this episode when I started to like her. That scene with Brooke was so beautifully done by both of them. And while I don't think Brooke is quite ready to let everything go and just forgive Victoria for treating her so horribly most of her life, this feels like a fresh start for them both. And the "You're my daughter, I'm so proud of you, I love you" part makes me so emotional every time. Oth has always been great at showing the developments in the characters and giving all of them layers and that's something I really appreciate. On this show there's never just one side of a character.

So, it must have been some time before Brooke came to Julian. I personally feel that he was very patient with her. I mean she was the one who had to come after and get him. He left. He only came back for the wedding and then stayed a few days for Peyton. So, I think he left her alone and gave her the time and space she needed to come to realizations on her own in my opinion.

For some of us it's the show we grew up with, the show that helped us through our teenage years. For some it's a recent discovery of heart, soul and that undescribable feeling of being at home that OTH brings. Juli is a dear friend of mine and watching her love it as much as I do has brought me so much joy, as I think it does for all of you too. Sometimes I get too excited and tease her a little about the future episodes. But as I figured out yesterday that sometimes can dim the joy for her a little bc she prefers to be surprised by every little detail, not just the big stuff. So please out of respect for the show and her let us give her the space to enjoy it spoiler-free. If you want to discuss the spoilers, you can always connect your patreon to the discord and have discussions in the OTH-spoiler-section over there (trust me it's a very active and passionate channel). We enjoy Juli's reactions this much because she doesn't know what's going on and gets surprised along the way. And we were smart enough to keep some key moments secret (remember how nobody of us said anything about the shooting episode?), so please let's continue this on. She knows season 7 includes a big change and me trying to vaguely describe it has not helped explain it. So she will find out on her own and if necessary ask me or you guys about it afterwards. It had so many heartbreaking and beautiful moments starting with Lucas taking a bloodied Peyton to the hospital, I loved seeing all the friends being there for them. Peyton waking up and naming the baby Sawyer was amazing as was seeing Karen entering the hospital room with the baby in her arm, and Peyton holding her baby in her arms for the first time. It was beautiful. I was so happy for Nathan, that moment he tells Haley he got into the NBA is just so epic and one of my favorites, this is what he’s fought for since the beginning of the series. I’m glad you brought up that Haley never really gets her own story, she’s mainly supporting. The Brooke/Victoria and later Brooke/Julian was fantastic. Victoria is human after all!! And I’m glad she finally melted the ice in her heart and was able to tell her daughter that she’s proud of her and that she loves her. And Brooke has been through such an amazing arc these past few seasons, it’s been amazing to watch. And of course she had to heal all the wounds caused by her mother for her to finally open her heart to love again and that moment with Julian at the end was beautiful but I wouldn’t have minded if she hadn’t said I love you either, it did feel like Julian and everyone else was pushing her. I felt kind of bad for Dan but he dug his own grave after shooting Keith and now he doesn’t get to participate in Lucas and Nathan's lives or be a part of his grandchildren's lives, he doesn’t get to celebrate Nathan getting into the NBA which is something that he’s always wanted or celebrate his new granddaughter or continue his beautiful relationship with Jamie that is now tarnished because he knows what he did. I love the end quote about believing in yourself and believing that your dreams can come true! That’s so One Tree Hill and so "Your Art Matters." Which basically defines this show!! Believing in yourself and your talent wether it be basketball, music, writing, fashion, film, journalism and sharing those dreams with your friends and family. The ending was just beautiful with Lucas and Peyton driving into the sunset with baby Sawyer.

The S4 finale also felt like it could be a series finale because it was the end of their high school lives, but this one just wrapped up perfectly & so many storylines ended beautifully. Nathan making it into the NBA is one of my fav moments of the show! Haley just being so proud of him, and Nathan telling her “we did it” is so touching. Nathan going to Q’s grave to tell him the news always makes me cry, any scene mentioning Q usually does. “You were right, it’s a comeback” Even though Q wasn’t in the show for long, he made a huge impact & his character has always stuck with me. Nathan’s comeback is my favorite storyline of the show I think because it’s been such a long time coming, but I was just patiently waiting for his dream to come true. I loved that he went to tell Whitey be made it! I agree that Naley is the heart of OTH. They’re my favorite ship of all time, so I’m a bit biased, but the amount of love they have for each other and how much they want each other to achieve their dreams is unmatched. No matter what they’re going though, they always come out stronger, and that’s why I love them so much! Leyton!!!! They’re not in my top ships, but they’re also an epic love of course! “Your art matters, it’s what got me here”, “It’s you” are just a few of their amazing quotes. Their love is so strong, sometimes they’ve hurt others just by standing in the way of it. What they did was wrong, but to me, it just shows that they were meant for each other. No one will come between Leyton lol! Lucas’ face while in the hospital was so heartbreaking! But her waking up to name the baby Sawyer was fitting :) Then them driving off in the comet together- I’m so glad they ending the season a happy family! I agree that Julian was a little annoying with the I love you, but it’s clear that they both love each other & they’re my second fav ship of OTH, so I’m biased, but their story is so beautiful & there’s so much more to come! Dan and Whitey’s scene was so touching!! Them hugging was such a powerful moment & also Dan holding Sawyer & saying to Peyton that he’s sorry that they’ll have to tell her about him someday broke my heart!! Victoria has a heart after all! Her conversation with Brooke... so amazing! She’s truly been a horrible mother to Brooke for basically her whole life, but the moment they shared in that scene was just beautiful. I wrote more than I planned, but anyways, I’m so excited for you start season 7!! Even though there’s a change, it’s one of my favorite seasons!!

They are fictional but they mean just SO much! All the characters all of OTH it's just darn it man..The emotion omg overwhelming just as I remember it

I feel the exact same way & I think that’s why OTH has such a strong, passionate fan base. Regardless of the ships and drama, this show give me so much happiness and is truly about life at the end of the day. We all make mistakes, learn, and grow from them, but that’s life. These characters show that to us & it’s easy to find yourself through at least one of the characters. For me, it’s Haley & I’m so glad you mentioned how she doesn’t really get as much of a storyline as the others. She’s usually just an extra piece to Nathan’s story, but I’ve always related to her the most. I just got so emotional about you expressing how much OTH helps you & I’m so glad that this show has brought us together & I’m able to rewatch it with you and have conversations with other people who love the show just as much as me!

There are shows that have really great moments and really great characters like Dynasty and Wynonna Earp, and they are truly great shows, but One Tree Hill is different. One Tree Hill doesn't rely on one singular character to take over the show. Obviously, Brooke is definitely seen as a main character, and I do believe she's the real main character of the show. But every single side character, one-off appearance, and main character has been treated as the way they should be, significant characters. From characters like Chris Keller to Tim to Bevins to Rachel to Skills to Mouth to Anna to Felix to Dan to even Xavier and Bobby. Every single character on this show is important. And that's something you don't see often. Every storyline in this show is treated with care even if maybe they're not the best storylines all the time, the characters still make it worth while and make it just so important. I feel like everyone can relate to at least one person in this show and even if it's not a perfect image of them, they still go through moments that we've all been through. That scene with Dan wanting to end his life and take away the pain is so impactful and so heartbreaking because of course no person starts out as this evil entity wanting to do evil things. It's the small things in life that truly change a person even someone like Jimmy. There's so much to this show that truly make it the great show that it is. And I can't wait for you to get into Season 7 and meet some certain new characters and I hope you do appreciate them, even if you don't personally like them. I think every character in this show matters whether we like them or not. Some characters we're meant to absolutely love and adore while others we're meant to hate but still have empathy for. I don't think there's really a character that is just pure evil. Even someone like Nanny Carrie is clearly broken from the loss of her son. And I guess the only characters that might be "pure evil" are Xavier and Psycho Derek. All of the others have moments where we can at least empathize and understand them even if they did bad things. It's what makes them all human and their flaws truly bring their characters to life. It doesn't matter who you ship or who you love and hate. I think everyone who truly watches this show can say that they love it. You can probably prove me wrong very easily, but my point is, this show isn't about a particular character or a particular ship. It's about EVERY thing. It's about LIFE. And living and learning and growing. People mess up. People cheat. People make mistakes. People lie. People do things that one day they'll end up regretting. And if you say you don't, you're lying. You can't live without failing. Sometimes it might feel like you're never going to succeed or you're never going to get better or you're never going to make it or you're set up for failure or you have a disadvantage, but you can work to change that. Maybe it's just not the right path. Maybe you just haven't met that person yet. Maybe you're never going to. But the thing is, there's no right way to live. Life is life. You're going to have moments of failure and moments of success. And I hope people can know that it DOES get better. Life DOES get better. And even though it might seem like it doesn't. I can promise you it does.

I personally really love season 7 even tho the start can be a bit rough to catch up to but in the end it’s an incredible season. My second favorite season overall.

She was able to let her fear of losing the baby go and share this fear with the people she loves, thing she could not do back then in S1 (when she locked up her room to have anyone in here) Having her happy ending, her own family, feels important and symbolic to me. I can’t even express the love I have for this character, she helped me a lot to fight my fear, to accept my complexity, my loneliness or to overcome all the pain life has to offer. I know there is a lot of people who identify to her character, to the pain she’s been through. But never forget that Peyton once said... someday all the pain that it took to get there, it just doesn’t matter anymore. Just have faith. ❤️
