2020-11-15 23:16:49 +0000 UTCHilarie who plays Peyton Left the show because of harassment problems with I believe the director and there was just a bunch of drama and sexual assault and stuff going on the set with one tree hill so I believe that’s why she left And then Chad Michael Murray who plays Lucas I at first heard that they weren’t going to pay him more for the season and as well they just didn’t want him I guess Lucas without peyton in or vice a versa didn’t make sense so they got rid of both of them it’s sucks without them it’s not the same

2020-11-05 18:53:13 +0000 UTCSo yeah, the end of s6 was the last Leyton episode :( I just wanted to take a second to say how much they mean to me, and how much I adore them because one, they deserve it more than anything, and two, it makes me really sad to see so much negativity towards them, so I feel I have to send some appreciation their way. I know they've never been your favourite, and you've always prefered Naley and now Brulian as well, like most people, but to me, they were everything. They were the heart of the show, the most epic love story. I mean, there's a reason The Comet quotes are still use to this day in a lot of fan videos for other couples ^^ Their relationship was all about destiny and fate, and it was big and it was epic. They were my very first ship, the main reason why this show means so much to me, and I will always love them deeply. And even individually, Peyton is of my favourite fictional character ever, and perhaps the one I can most relate to. And even Lucas, I always felt like people didn't appreciate him enough. So the show was never the same for me after they left. I'm looking forward to seeing you react to the last seasons, though ♥

2020-11-05 07:43:31 +0000 UTCi believe chad left to pursue his career further away from oth which left hilarie in a place where peyton made no sense in the story anymore and it also had to do with the fact that the oth creator mark schwann had a disgusting obsession with her and literally harassed her constantly. his obsession is shown even this season with daneel (rachel) who came back due to her contract but got paired up with dan since she knew that way mark wouldn’t be able to harass her like he had in prior seasons. i feel so terrible for all the woman in the cast and crew who had to put up with that vile man due to needing a job.

Oh and for Rachel and Dan.. it's definitely weird to me, but it doesn't feel out of character for them lol. I completely understand why Quinn decided to leave David. Better to end it than stay in an unhappy marriage which could eventually lead to cheating and such.

For me though, I didn't mind it because Leyton left the show in a good way. They had their happy ending. As mentioned before, Hilarie was sexually assulted by the show creater (Mark) and Chad decided to leave when she did. Alex is here! I also disliked her at first (I'm sure most do) but she became to be one of my favorites.

But still I can’t wait. Also your reaction to Rachel and Dan was exactly what I expected. I think that will also be interesting to see how you feel about it in the end. Also the Renee and Nathan storyline... I won’t say anything cuz if might spoil, but I’ll just say... I look forward to your reactions to it.

She noticed that she was waking up everyday not feeling connected to her husband, not wanting to take his calls, and they didn't miss each other when they were apart. They no longer made each other a priority and when she mentions she understands there is supposed to be this big huge reason to abandon her marriage but there isn't is something I felt. She didn't do what many others do in her situations, she didn't ignore all of the red flags that people ignore that leads to someone cheating on their spouse or something larger. She recognized this marriage to David wasn't what she wanted everyday for the rest of her days and I always respected that. She also never treated him like he was wrong and she was right, she knew that it was her feelings that were leading to this.

2020-11-05 01:40:17 +0000 UTCAlso, Hilarie said her character went through hell every season, she thought it was about time to let her character breathe and be happy, have a happy ending (the S6 finale), because we know if she did not leave the show (which isn’t for this reason) the creator would have tortured her character until the end of the series. thank god they did not kill her at the end of S6, I was really scared about that back then because we did not know how her character would have ended.

That was a big change and some people literally stopped watching the show because they were the « essence » of the show and I almost did but I kept watching until the end. Definitely not the same without them but still good. Hilarie left because she was sexually assaulted by the creator of the show. There is lots of videos about that and we can discuss about that in Sunday!
