One Tree Hill 7x06 FULL REACTION

Comments

I actually think Mouth was being more supportive than Alex. It might not look like that on the surface because of the way he acted when she first told him about being a model. BUT I think even outside of his own history/insecurity's he's looking out for Millie more in the long run. Like he said she worked for 5 years to get to the place she did in the company(even being Victoria's boss!!) and I think he doesn't want her to throw that all away so fast for something that she's only done once on a whim and might not want to do long term. Of course he eventually comes more around and tries to reassure Millie that she's beautiful and that she can be a model if she wants to. That comment that Alex made to Millie about being a plus sized model was so gross and caused her to feel a LOT more insecure than she already was, leading her to steal her diet pills and start taking them.....Also plus sized models are BEAUTIFUL too BTW ALEX!!

Ironic that you call yourself Nathan's mother. A mother would not distrust her son as much as you do. I never doubted for a second that Nathan was telling the truth. Nathan never out and out lies. Sometimes he avoids telling Haley things but if he looks her in the eyes and says "I did not cheat" then he did not cheat. Also as Nathan says he is not Dan, he would not father a child and abandon that child. The fact that you could even have a morsel of doubt after he points that out is beyond me!

Sorry but I’m on mouths side here clearly he sees a pattern of what’s happening to Millie that she’s out drinking till late and she’s coming home disheveled and he clearly doesn’t think it’s good for her as I don’t either. If it was Haley going out till super late sleeping at a guys house without Nathan we wouldn’t like it so it’s kind of a double standard that mouth is not allowed to be upset

Lexi

"Your tall, dark and handsome is busy with my short, hot and bossy" get's to me every. freaking. time. That line is just so funny and Mia's reaction is even better. I lowkey wish we got more scenes with Mia and Julian together. Not neccesserily a friendship, but it would've been interesting.

Anna

Naley in this episode hurt my heart. It was hard watching them argue and losing faith in each other. I think Haley deep down knows that Nathan didn't cheat on her and got another woman pregnant, but the fact that this situation has been going on for so long is making her doubt him more than she maybe normally would. That Naley scene in the end though. There are too many scenes with those two to count, but this one is for sure one of my absolute favourite. The way they look at each other and him calling her his dream. I mean... Where can I find myself a Nathan Scott?

Anna

I understand where Brooke is coming from. Seeing Julian and Alex together brought her straight back to high school and Lucas's and Peyton's betrayal. It's like she's expecting something bad to happen this time around as well. But Julian is nothing like Lucas. He loves Brooke so much and he would never do anything to hurt her. At least not on purpose. But then you have Alex. She has such a different personality, so flirty and with no boundaries. She doesn't care that Julian and Brooke are together and she doesn't respect what Brulian has. I'm certain Brooke trusts Julian, but she also knows how Alex is. She's smart not to trust her and not trusting her around Julian. So Brooke has every right to be upset and watching her fire Alex was honestly so satisfying.

Anna

agree and how far she goes later on in the season makes me angry because she knows Julians heart and how caring he is as a person and her trying so hard with no morals or respect for herself is disgusting but her development I like alot.

izzy

Agreed but I think Alex is worse than high school Brooke just because Alex is an adult. I like Alex but getting naked in front of someone could land you in jail if you know that person is not gonna be welcoming your gesture, so getting fired is not that bad.

Dove

“Is she a Ghost”😳 I don’t like how Nathan & Haley handled the Clay/ Quinn situation; they’re being extremely judgmental. Not every marriage is going to work out. I do think that they may just be trying to protect Quinn tho since they really don’t understand why she left her marriage & that Clay’s known for sleeping around, but still, they don’t have to be so judgy. “Ciao Bitches” lmao iconic. I completely get where Brooke is coming from; Alex was very unprofessional. She has no boundaries, but I don’t think she ever has & plus, she has an extremely bubbly, flirty personality. I didn’t think Julian was in the wrong for not telling Brooke that Alex stripped in front of him. Of course it was unprofessional & disrespectful, but they worked it out & nothing further happened. I don’t even care about Mouth’s storyline tbh. Millie, gosh I feel for her. She’s been thrown into this world & the pressure to “look good” & the stress is bound to get it her. I’m so excited for you to see her storyline this season.

heather

100% I think that Brooke is in the right for firing Alex (and I like Alex's character a lot). Alex was incredibly unprofessional. She got naked in front of her boss's significant other. In the real world, you would be immediately fired for that. I mean, if what Mouth did was unprofessional, then what Alex did was certainly. At least Mouth knew he would be fired. Alex needs to learn that there are consequences for her actions.

miah.sun

i think you’re giving mouth to hard of a time with the nathan situation tbh. he stood up for what he believed in, while it may be unprofessional he’s protecting his friend and saying his truth and i actually agree with him gossip like that maybe be entertaining but it has nothing to do with their job which is to report the truth

fry

I agree. Nathan and Haley are very judgy with Quinn. They need to support her and they don't. Because even when Quinn explains the situation to them, they only ever support her reluctantly. This is prob the only time when Im not in love with Haley and Nathan. It bothers me because she is a grown woman and they are telling her and Clay what to do. But I really like your theory that Nathan and Haley believe that every couple is like them and that David and Quinn can get through it

miah.sun

I think youre getting lost in how much you like Alex to understand where Brooke is coming from lol which I get cuz besides her trying to hop on Julian, Alex is hilarious BUT ALEX HAS NO BOUNDARIES OR RESPECT FOR BROOKE AND FOR JULIAN. Since the minute she laid eyes on Julian, she has been disrespecting his love and relationship with Brooke and its not because of Victoria that Brooke is feeling this way, Victoria is right and Brooke saying about high school self is because high school Brooke in the first season didn't care if Lucas liked Peyton and she still went after him by stripping in his back seat car and flirting with him. Brooke knows how Alex is being because she felt that way once and she has ever right to be mad at Alex and Julian cuz Julian is in the wrong hiding the fact that another girl went naked in front of him no matter what reason it was for, he had no reason to hide it even if he knew Brooke would get mad, Brooke had ever right to know and stop Alex from being near him. And this is the reason why I dont like Alex rn in the season cuz she's disrespecting Brooke and Julian.

izzy

I love that mouth didn't talk bad about Nathan on television, he isn't gonna let his job change who he is as a person and his friendship. I would've done the same thing if I was him cuz he knows who Nathan is and there isn't any real evidence to even put that on air to be honest so he's not in the wrong to say that and what he said on the air so many people need hear what he said

izzy

I love the next episode, its my mother's favorite. One of the best episodes of this season in my opinion

izzy

"I thought she was a ghost." Oh Juli, I love you. You make watching this show such a treat.

Ashley Laduranteay

Finally I agree, I think both Nathan and Haley are unfair to Clay and Quinn. Haley blamed Clay for Nathan's situation, and Nathan blamed Quinn for "distracting" Clay from his work even though that's not what she's doing at all, and if anything she's actually helping him. But I think the reason why Nathan and Haley lash out at Clay and Quinn is because they've been in that situation, and they also want to believe that everyone is like them and everyone can get through these times, and especially now that Haley is having doubts about Nathan, and Nathan is having doubts that Haley has faith in him, and it's just a whole mess. I can't say too much else on my thoughts about how Nathan and Haley treat Quinn and Clay, but I both understand where they're coming from, but also disagree with their approaches. As for the mystery woman that shows up with Clay... no comment. :D

Rubi Moon

Millie, I empathize with. Insecurities and the way you see yourself is not easy and you can't just get rid of them. And again this is a big deal for her. She's being thrown into this public spotlight that unlike Alex, she's not used to. And when Alex brought up the fact she uses diet pills, it tempted her and the fact that Alex made the comment about her being plus sized. Of course Alex didn't mean it to be offensive or an insult, but Millie also trusts what Alex says and felt insecure because of it. Sometimes that small comments can have a really big impact on our mentality not only of ourselves but of the world.

Rubi Moon

For Alex I get it, she's used to a certain way of working and even living. She's not used to boundaries or rules that she has to follow. She just does what is expected of her and does what she for the most part wants to. It's very different than what most people want, and I don't think she necessarily meant to be provocative, but she just was and she didn't understand what the big problem was. Alex is a bit impulsive and emotional and has gone through a lot especially in the Hollywood spotlight, so I get her having a far more unique lifestyle. She's a free spirit and I love that about her.

Rubi Moon

For Mouth's situation. I mean I think it's understandable to put the question out there to make sure Millie is sure of her decision especially since it IS a big step forward and she HAS complained about it before. Should he have done it the way he did? No not really, but I don't know if I necessarily blame him being a bit of a cynic when it comes to a big decision. I also think while that situation with the broadcast would never happen in real life, it also is very powerful and I like that he decides to do that. This show is VERY much about integrity and trust and while he COULD have done the story about Nathan Scott and tell everyone about how he allegedly had an affair with this woman and is losing his endorsements, he also has the chance and the ability to keep his integrity and tell the people his honest opinions. And he obviously knew by doing that he would lose his job most likely and I think he just had to accept that and be okay with moving forward and protecting his friend. Again, that scenario would NEVER happen in real life, but it is a good scene for the show, in my opinion.

Rubi Moon

I understand where Brooke is coming from when it comes to Alex and Julian because of her previous relationship and experience with Lucas and Peyton. I mean if she couldn't even trust her best friend not to cheat on her, how can she trust this random hot girl that seems to like to fling herself on every girl and guy she meets. That being said it is unfair for Brooke to assume that Alex is the same as Peyton and Julian is the same as Lucas because they're not, and I know it's hard for her to realize that, and it's hard for her to trust a guy and a girl together especially when they have particular ways of doing things. It's sad she feels this way, but it's also realistic. Also that scene is just so iconic lol

Rubi Moon

Nathan's line to Haley is so powerful and such a good line because if you think about this, this is almost the exact situation Dan was in when he was younger, but the only thing is that Dan knew that what he did was true, and Nathan has a firm belief or at least claims he has a firm belief that he couldn't and wouldn't do something like this. And this really has us question and also think about the character we know Nathan he is and whether he would really be capable of doing something like this, but we also have to consider the fact that he WAS drunk and people when they are drunk do things that they would obviously never do when sober. Is it possible that Nathan slept with Renee without even knowing it? Maybe. Is it possible that Nathan is right and he had nothing to do with Renee being pregnant? Absolutely. And the fact that both scenarios is actually 100% possible without Nathan necessarily lying is what makes this scenario so.... convincing of either outcomes.

Rubi Moon

Same. I think the next episode is so beautiful and episode 8 is one of my favorite ones in the whole show to rewatch because it really focuses so much on the characters themselves instead of all the drama around them and its great

sandrinegeller

You go at the pace you want, but I can't wait for the next updates. Episode 7 is my favorite of the season storywise, and then episode 8 is my favorite character wise.

Ashley Laduranteay

Omg yay! Just finished watching the other one! I love days where you post so many oth episodes! And excited for the next few episodes too! So much good stuff coming!
