The thing I like the least about the Katie storyline is how it ruins Sara's memory. While Sara herself had nothing to do with tainting how we feel about her, bringing in a character that looks like her and having her, meaning Katie, actively trying to ruin Clinn's relationship not to mention trying to replace Sara feels like such a slap in the face. As the viewers we can see how nothing could ever truly ruin or replace what Clay and Sara had together, but the way they played this out it doesn't seem fair to Clay and to Sara's memory.

As usual, this was an amazing episode. But there are two scenes that truly stand out for me. The first one is the scene between Victoria and Haley. Victoria's little speech to Haley went straight to my heart. Not only was it done beautifully, but those words really have an impact. I don't think Haley was able to truly take it in then and there because she's still so consumed by the grief and pain after losing her mother. But deep down she knows Victoria is right. This scene also shows how much Victoria has grown as a person and as a mother, which makes me love this moment even more. The icing on the cake is Brooke standing in the background witnessing this conversation (well more like a monologue) between her mother and best friend. Her entire childhood she dealt with parents who never really were there for her or cared about her, and now that same mother is in front her giving this beautiful speech. It's as if Brooke is approving of the person Victoria has turned into, the person Brooke alsways hoped her mother would be like. The other scene I adore during this episode is with Alex and Julian at Tric. "Whatever happens this movie will be the best thing that happened to me. It saved my life. You saved my life." I actually got chills It was such a good sceene. And again it shows how much a character has grown. One Tree Hill definetely has it's flaws, just like any other show, but if there is one thing oth really knows how to do, it's character development.

Poor Haley! Poor Clay too though. The whole thing with Katie must be so hard for him! I mean, in a way, seeing her is like seeing Sara and hearing Sara and talking to her. But it's obviously so different as well because he knows it's not her and she's insane. But also, this must be ruining his image of her in a really horrible way. Of course, he can differentiate between them and he KNOWS that this isn't Sara and that it's Katie messing with him. But she looks and sounds exactly like her, she knows so much about their relationship, it must be so horrible having this person who looks and sounds exactly like his dead wife messing with him and trying to ruin his relationship. Especially as there's probably some part of him that wants to just give in. Not because he believes her, or doesn't love Quinn, but because in a really messed up way, she'd give him back Sara. It wouldn't be the same, of course it wouldn't. But the brain sometimes can't understand that. :( And Haley. This storyline is so heartbreaking. I'm so glad Nathan is there for her through it. As is everyone else. I also love that Brooke is also there for Nathan, because while he's not going through the same as Haley, it's so hard for him to watch her go through all this and not be able to help her. So I'm glad Brooke made sure to check up on him and just be there for all of them. I so wish we could have more scenes between them because in so many ways, they're so alike and they just get each other in a way the others don't. They clearly adore each other, I mean making someone the Godmother of your child isn't something you can really do unless both parents are okay with it. It's gotta be someone you trust, because if something happens to you that child is going to their Godparents and you're gonna wanna know that they're gonna be okay. I just wish we got more between them because they have such a good friendship that we rarely get to see. (I loved when, a few episodes ago while Brulian were still broken up, Nathan offered to knock some sense into Julian for her. He's definitely got a certain amount of protectiveness towards her...) But yeah, I love that she made sure to be there for Nathan too. Because he's there for Haley, making sure she's okay and helping her through her pain, but that doesn't mean he doesn't need someone there for him to make sure he's okay while he's watching his wife suffer. And Quinn. She's such an amazing Aunt. Jamie really needed this. He's been through so much, and has had to watch both his parents go through depressive times. First Nathan after his accident, now Haley. And he has just lost his Grandma. He's 7 years old and has been through more than I have in my 18 years of life! Haha (Losing my Mum is the only bad thing to happen to me. And while I know that's up there, when I look at how much poor Jamie has been through. Jesus Christ! Haha)
