Seeing that this is Marvel's first thing since Endgame (Spider-Man don't count) having Wanda being the sole villain doesn't seem right. I think they will at least tease a new villain or introduce mutants.

I know the show surrounds Wanda’s mental health and dealing with her grief following Endgame and moving into Multiverse of Madness, but I feel like it being completely her is too much of the obvious choice. Knowing Marvel, there will definitely be a twist like it’s Mephisto or something. I do think Wanda has a modicum of control over what happens inside but since she herself was kind of surprised by what she did to Monica it makes me think there’s someone else involved too.

2021-02-02 04:01:06 +0000 UTCI'm having to agree with Becky. As much as I found the character of Darcy funny in the films, that line of "It's Doctor" was totally stolen from Jemma Simmons in AOS Season 7; and the more that I think about it the more pissed off I get.

(Sentient World Observation and Response Department) is a fictional counterterrorism and intelligence agency appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. Its purpose is to deal with extraterrestrial threats to world security and is the space-based counterpart of S.H.I.E.L.D., which deals with local threats to the world.” The reason they are dealing with the whole Wanda situation even though it’s considered a local issue and not space based is because shield no longer exists as an official organization so sword had to take over to cover local and space based cases.

2021-02-01 11:50:30 +0000 UTCFBI Agent Woo is from Ant-Man & the Wasp. He was the one who had Ant-Man on house arrest. Doctor Darcy Lewis is from Thor and you know where Monica is from. I'm happy we get the connection to the MCU but I'm jealous that Shield never got this. Also, I don't know what was the point of making this new Sword organization that does the same thing that Shield does. Darcy could have been Fitz. Monica could have been Jemma.

I still don't think Wanda is doing this, she might think she is doing it and that she is the one in control, but she is not. If you think about it in Endgame Carol has lost everybody, Monica, Maria and Fury 😥. No wonder she was not staying on Earth.

Also not sure if you made the connection as I haven’t seen your reaction yet but monica’s mom is/was best friends with carol danvers aka Captain Marvel.
