juli when you have less shows on your plate i highly recommend watching all american, it’s an actual well written show (unlike riverdale) that has good storylines and the main ship of the show spelivia heavily parallels barchie except they are actually treated well

Ohhh Juli... this episode tore my heart to shreds. What I find hard for me with this point forward having to do with Barchie is how Archie is mistreating Betty. I just question whether this is a mendable mistake, cause if this happened to me, I don’t think I’d forgive him. God, Barchie is my life and this just makes me so sad. Also breaking Choni and Kangs up as well?!? Lord the writing went from atrocious to better to a downright dumpster fire. I have my music on shuffle right now and all I can do is think about Barchie. If I was dedicated enough, I would make a fan cam to Lewis Capaldi’s “Leaving my Love Behind”. It just feels so fitting for this episode and for all of the couples. 😭Juli, you are the only reason I would continue watching. I’m only going to watch your reactions cause I relate to you so much but other then that, I just don’t know if my Barchie heart will go on cause, is it even worth it?

okay so i know everyone is really upset about this and i think a lot of the relationships and characters this ep were badly written but i was expecting this ep to go pretty much like this so i was already prepared. varchie getting back together within 2 eps is how we can actually win. bc it's super rushed and won't last. just the final nail in the coffin of their relationship. also did you notice how this ep betty says archie is her light in the darkness and cheryl said the same thing about toni when they got back together in the heathers ep (3x16)? also think it's very interesting how they paralleled choni/barchie "breaking up" this ep and them kissing other ppl by the end when we all know choni is endgame and barchie.... yeah.

It’s always the same major issue with riverdale. The writers never properly give a reason why for anything. That’s why it’s hard to be invested in any of their storylines. I thought things would be different after the time jump, but after the random aliens and all of the things out of no where this episode. everything is just so confusing and silly to me like all of the other episodes in the past.

I do agree with you there. Archie is a pretty bleh protagonist. But I gave up taking any of the characters or storylines seriously after Betty’s strip dance in season 2. So now I’m just in it for the lols.

this show is so upsetting omg why varchie why !!! we already had to endure 4 seasons of them, and now they get back together AGAIN ???!!! they literally broke up 4 episodes ago ffs !!! I mean i wasn't kidding myself, i knew that bh and va was endgame (cause ya know the writers are cowards and want to please the fans) but at least i hoped for a season of barchie in the meantime BUT 4 EPISODES REALLY ???? do Barchie matter so little to you writers ??? and leading us on, making us believe there was something more ??? that shit hurts ngl I'M SO UPSET

One of the only reasons I still watch this show is BARCHIE! What was the point of doing that to just make Archie and Veronica get back together ? I’m don’t like them together at all anymore it’s just been played out now.
