I loved this episode too! I think Isobel and Michael had the biggest character developments this season and I love to see it. Alex's love for Michael is just so big and undeniable, but as you said I love that they're portraying that Michael has different but very strong feelings for both Maria and Alex. That is one of the reasons I love RNM so much, they do representation so well! You can clearly see in this episode that Nora was fighting so hard for Michael and had so much love and admiration for her son.

I thought it was a breath of fresh air for the reasons you stated in the premier episode. And while I am 100 % for Malex-I am in the few that really enjoyed the malex/miluca journey for the most part!
