Trata de una cortesana llamada Violetta que enferma de tuberculósis y se enamora de un joven noble llamado Alfredo, quien la cuida mientras está enferma pero debe dejarlo por que su relación puede destruír la reputación de la familia de Alfredo, lo que entonces podía generarle consecuencias muy graves, así que para superarlo se lanza a una vida de fiestas de sociedad pretendiendo ser una gran dama mientras se deja también llevar por una vida "libertina" apoyada por el dinero de sus amantes. Cuando Alfredo la encuentra en una fiesta, cree que ella lo abandonó para irse con un Barón que le ofrecía más dinero así que la confronta y le lanza dinero a su cara para humillarla, creo que ese es el momento del solo de Adelaide, al final del segundo acto. El tercer acto creo que no se vió. Perdón por el Español pero mi tablet hace imposible escribir en inglés.

If you haven’t binge watch the rest of the season especially 2x08 through 2x10 for your own sanity. Saw too many people online drive themselves nuts having to wait for each episode to come out.
