Yes, he was talking to much but he wasn’t kissing her under water he was giving her air, I’m pretty sure...

Loved your reaction. I love Julien and I knew what was going to happen and I was still yelling at him and calling him stupid for talking to and kissing Brooke while she’s drowning and screaming underwater. I’m like HURRY!!! Even tho of course I would be wayyy worse in a disaster but still lol. I always still cry even tho I know what happens on shows bc I like to live in that episode like it were the first time.

Usually I’d be like “of course Brooke isn’t gonna die” but yes then Jamie said that and all the anxiety started kicking in and I was like “are they really gonna kill Brooke Davis my child”. Agree there was something about the way he said it that just had me thinking there was a small possibility they could do that. This episode traumatised me

I honestly dont remember because it was so long ago, but honestly a majority of my comment is my own opinion of Brucas being the better couple~I'm not saying that Leyton is a bad couple, but they just don't do it for me.

Hilarie said that she was told around season 2/3 that Brucas and Jeyton were endgame. And honestly who cares if Brucas was pushed more because of Chad/Sophia. Even if they weren't I saw a lot more chemistry between Brooke and Lucas. Yeah.. maybe Mark said something about how it was obviously Lucas/Peyton, but thats a given his obsession with Hilarie at the time. There could be a lot of reasons that pushed Leyton and that pushed Brucas, but all I was saying is that if Chad/Sophia hadn't divorced then Brucas would've been endgame. Would there have been personal reasons behind the pushing of that couple if it happened, yes. But there's nothing to prove that Mark's disgusting obsession with Hilarie wasn't what propelled the Leyton storyline

Where did she say that?? Because it's actually been stated many times that it was actually the opposite : Brucas would have never been a thing if Chad and Sophia hadn't been dating. Leyton was always gonna be endgame anyway, it was said from the very first episode.

I actually still am a Brucas shipper~ obviously they had to make Brooke and Lucas breakup out of nowhere because of what was happening in real life. But if Chad hadn’t cheated on Sophia I honestly think Brucas would have been endgame. Hilarie Burton-Morgan(Peyton) literally said during an interview that the endgame couples were supposed to be Jeyton and Brucas. I’m pretty sure Hilarie is a Jeyton shipper~

Can't wait for ep 13! The next episode is fun too. This one was a lot of drama but Naley and Brulian are great and I love Jamie.

The original theme song is now the new black and white intro! It played and the episode was traumatising... Haha ;-P

The happiness I felt seeing you realize it was Gavin's original version of the theme song playing during the intro.

As heartbreaking as the scene when the car crashes into the car Brooke and Jamie were in and pushed it over the bridge was, I couldn't stop laughing at how you reacted. Idk, I guess it was because you were so certain they were gonna get electrecuted, and then BOOM the car comes along instead and put them in an even greater danger.
Brooke was truly shining this episode. But honestly, she doesn't need a cape for us to know that she's a hero. That's just the kind of person she is, putting others before herself and making sure everybody else are safe. My heart simply broke watching the light leave her eyes when she was stuck in the car and Julian was doing everything he could to get her out of there. I was so stressed out, oh god.
"Aunt Brooke is dead." Even though in the end Brooke was all alright it was something about the way Jamie said that to Naley that felt so incredibly final. Man, this episode won't ever make me not cry.

I think this was everyone's favorite episode of season 8. I mean .. they really put all of us through the wringer with this Brooke scare and then ofc Quinn fighting Katie .. it was a rough episode, but it proved once again that Brooke is the queen of this show.

This is the episode that makes me want to quote Hamilton on every rewatch when Lucas breaks Brooke's heart. I'm like: girl "just you wait", you'll get so much better than squinty.

This episode BROKE me, like from the beginning it starts off eerie with the music and shots, like 3x16, and then from the minute I saw Chuck standing in the middle of the road the anxiety kicked in (I also didn't like Chuck prior but when I saw the poor kid fighting to stay awake my heart broke for him).
I don't think I need to explain how much of a queen Brooke was in this episode. I feel like an episode like this was in the cards for Brooke, a climactic saviour/tragic moment, everyone else had one; Nathan, 3x23, Haley, 4x09, Lucas, 4x05, Peyton... I mean do I have to spell out her countless tragic moments (There was also Sam). She handled everything so well, I think it was a nice contrast to begin the episode with her acting irrational over a simple argument and then show when it comes to it she steps up. The scene of her begging Julian to save Jamie was so sad, you could be mad at Julian for trying to save Brooke first because he is a child but the situation is way more complicated and I love the One Tree Hill writers for being able to make the storyline work to achieve these scenes.
As for Quinn she was badass, I agree i feel like she could've been able to take on Katie a bit more than she did. But none the less I loved her. I didn't particularly like the way they handled this storyline but it gave Clay and Quinn their big tragedy of the show.

This is one of the few episodes of any show that I still remember watching it live. I freaked out so much when Brooke “died”. I had to take a walk around my house to calm down. I’ve never had such an emotional reaction to any show. Even rewatching it my heart was beating faster when it was happening.
