They are so so bad lmao. It kind of takes you out from the show for a moment because you’re in the moment and them BAM bad theme song 😅

Julian was in love with her, but the entire time she was in a relationship with him, she was pining after Lucas, buying his book everywhere she went, carrying it around all the time. It makes sense that she, as Julian's mother, wouldn't be a huge fan of someone who did that to her son. Plus, it's realistic that friends drift apart. I was so close to my friends in High School, and I've only been out for a few years and I very rarely talk to any of them. And I know that they went through some pretty traumatic stuff together, but people still drift apart. Especially as Peyton moved and has a kid now. She's gonna be a little preoccupied with raising Sawyer. Also, it's not like they had Peyton not come to the Wedding because she couldn't be bothered to make the journey or anything, it's because Sawyer is sick and she has to take care of her. I actually think this was one of the better ways they could've handled it considering everything. Of course, it would've been nice to have Peyton and Lucas and little Sawyer come to the wedding and be there for Brooke (though I'd still want Haley as the Maid of Honour as I much prefer the Braley friendship to the Breyton one...) but considering all the behind the scenes shit, I think this is the best we could've hoped for... But yeah, like I said, I can't blame Sylvia for not liking Peyton, it's understandable. Especially with how close she is to Julian...

2021-05-01 21:44:50 +0000 UTCOn first watch I wasn't the biggest fan on this episode. I was just so confused how we came from such a dramatic and climactic episode and not even mention it. Quinn had that one line of dialogue about Katie and that's it. Like Brooke almost DIED last episode, you'd think this episode would include at least a snippet of the fallout from everything that happened. Rewatching it now this episode was so fun, totally shipping Quinn and Alex, loved the progression for Brooke and Sylvia, Millie my child was wild this episode and Haley and her one liners were so funny (as she usually is). Haley, to me, is the funniest character on this show, the way Bethany does her facial expressions and delivers her lines has always been something so fascinating to me. He acting is so realistic and I think that's apart of the reason I love her so much. The Braley scene at the end had me squealing, they're my favourite friendship on this show by a long shot, the way they always support each other and have so much fun, their actors have so much chemistry I love it. I also love the scene at the beginning where Nathan is stressing and she's just like "who? who?", that unconditional support they have for each other is why they're the best ship on the show. I do 100% agree with the Peyton stuff. Mark Schwarm is a prick, he deserves nothing. Him sneakily writing disses to try and bring down Peyton's character pissed me off so much. I am happy they mentioned it though because if Peyton just hadn't shown up with no explanation I would've been mad. I also didn't like that the dialogue made it seem like Brooke was ALWAYS there for her, I love my child, queen and saviour Brooke, but let's not forget after Peyton was attacked Brooke made jokes about it, and also made a diss about both her mums' deaths. Brooke was definitely there for a lot but so was Peyton, and I feel like mark just sneaked that line it to paint Peyton in a bad light. However I'm still here for Haley being Brooke's Maid of honour because I love that friendship more.

2021-05-01 16:59:38 +0000 UTCI actually kinda liked the Peyton talk. Like yes they had an amazing relationship and it was very strong but then they grew apart. Peyton moved away and Brooke stayed. That's not to say that they would never be friends again but that they drifted apart and right now Brooke doesn't feel as close to Peyton. I mean it happens all the time, I've drifted apart from a lot of friends, whom I thought would last forever. It doesn't mean we didn't/don't love each other, it's just life goes on and some people don't stay friends forever.
