In good oth fashion there's no wedding without drama, but there weren't any life/death situation, yk. Another reason I love Brulian's wedding so much is because Brooke finally got the man of her dream and she truly deserves to be happy after everything she has been through. Jamie's and Haley's speeches to Brulian were simply beautiful. I love how Jamie used that story Julian told him earlier in the day and Haley's speech about her friendship with Brooke always touches me. It captures perfectly what they mean to each other and how far they have come. And though it makes me sad Hilarie couldn't be there to reprise her role as Peyton because of everything that went on behind the scenes, I'm glad Haley was the one who was Brooke's maid of honour, just like Brooke was Haley's at her wedding.

2021-05-11 03:57:11 +0000 UTCThey technically knew the gender at the beginning of the season because they were using Joy’s actual baby which she knew was going to be a girl. So Haley said “I have a feeling it’s going to be a girl.” Since Joy already knew. Alex is definitely bi lol. I think they just weren’t able to write it so blatantly or it would end up like Anna and Josh. LGTBQ representation was very different during this period, especially for a show that was constantly at the risk of cancellation. They just couldn’t risk anything unfortunately, but there’s definitely hints and little bread crumbs for those paying attention like how Alex has literally flirted with all of the female characters in some way whether she’s calling them hot, gorgeous, or even saying she wants to sleep with them like she did with Mia. There’s also off screen stuff that is implied like the “after after party” after the modeling event and this mysterious best friend named Kimi who honestly sounds like a mess lmao. It’s almost a beauty of what they were able to do despite not being able to fully realize Alex’s true storyline. I think Josh’s earlier coming out storyline is kind of a projection of Alex’s coming out story especially when she asks Josh if he would ever consider coming out. It’s almost like Alex is moreso asking for herself than for him. And I think because it can be written off as in-between the lines, is precisely why they were able to get away with it. I honestly think no joke that Alex is a closeted bisexual. And there’s a lot of evidence for it too. To the point where it almost is crystal clear without blatantly saying it. I think if we were to see where all the characters were today and get a reunion, without spoilers, I have a feeling Alex would have a couple girlfriends even if they were just one time lovers. I love that Brulian were the only ones (so far) to get a peaceful wedding and they deserved it too. Brooke has just gone through so much already, she deserves one day of pure happiness. We’re definitely approaching the end game, but we still have a lot of episodes to appreciate 🙂

Because it's true, bad things always happen at Tree Hill weddings! (Except Naley's first one... I mean, like, Dan had a heart attack while it was happening, or after it, but that was a GOOD thing... The only bad part to that is that he survived...) So happy they're finally married! They deserve it! Was so beautiful! About the Naley baby. This was the confirmation that it's a girl. When Haley told Nathan she was pregnant she said she thought it was gonna be a girl, and every time Jamie would say about having a brother one of them would remind him it could be a sister, but this was the first time it was definite. Jamie and Haley's speeches were great though! Love the reference to 1x06 too! And after Haley said about Brooke not liking her name and changing it to Brooke, Julian's little look at Brooke and Brooke's small nod as if to say "Yeah, that actually happened." was so adorable! Aaw at Millie reaching to catch the bouquet though! She really wants Mouth to propose, huh? Haha I honestly love their relationship, think they're adorable! Mouth is always so shy with Millie and it's so cute! <333 I also love that Clay didn't get mad at Quinn for searching out Katie. He was a little upset that she hadn't told him sooner, but I think that's partly because maybe if he'd known she'd found her he'd be a little warier of leaving Quinn alone and he could've been there when Katie attacked again and Quinn wouldn't have had to go through that alone. Or they could've told the Police where she was and got her arrested and it wouldn't happen. So I think him being a little upset was more out of worry than anything, and I just love them so much. And the fact that Quinn could've kept it to herself and never told Clay the truth, but she knew he was blaming himself and couldn't let that continue. They're so cute! I honestly don't hold it against Chase or Mia for going together or hooking up. They're both single, they thought they were just going as friends, but they ended up hooking up. Alex would've done the same thing in that situation...
