Also, to clarify, the reason Mariana stayed in the dance competition was because the rules said "as long as ONE person in the dance group qualified in the first round (in this episode), the ENTIRE group can perform (in the finals)" So Mariana being apart of the winning dance team in this episode means she and anyone else can perform in finals, and that's why she stayed. My child using her brains for good :)))

2021-06-03 04:47:52 +0000 UTCThe scene of Callie telling Sophias parents what happened BROKE ME!!! The way Sophia was so scared to admit it, her face seemed so lifeless yet scared in the end. Then Robert breaking down was also so heartbreaking to me! I'm not a parent so I don't understand much, but I know if I found out my child was suicidal it would hurt for so many different reasons. The fact that you didn't realise, the fact that they felt they couldn't come to you, the fact that they're depressed. All the emotions Jill and Robert must've been feeling. I really like their characters, can't stand them most the time but honestly they're so realistic and aren't just villains, they're people and although the fans may be angry with them, this episode really reminded you that they're humans. This is what I love most about this show, nothing is black and white. There's so much I wanna say about these characters but I won't because spoilers. But season 2 is a big season for a lot of the characters, it's where you truly see them grow and I love it.

PS: yeah I meant to mention Maia Mitchell is Australian, and how her American accent is so amazing lol! Now when you watch the show you can try to hear if her accent slips out at any point! 🤣
