I'm worried for how they're gonna handle the Sophie leaving the crows situation. I hope she's jobless for an episode or two (preferably even more), but what's gonna happen after that? I don't mind her joining the bat team I would love that but I don't want it to be a thing where she starts taking on the reigns of the group and the dynamic isn't ruined.

2021-05-18 09:48:11 +0000 UTCI think for Sophie she always had the hope of changing the system from within, whereas Ryan always thought that the system is too broken to be fixed and that we have to fight it from the outside. And in this episode Sophie was shown that even in her position as second in command, even though she lived in a closet for her career, even though she fought tooth and nail to get to a place where she is respected - they still won't give her a chance. These people will never respect her, will always see her as "less than" no matter how hard she tries to fit in. And this is why it was the final straw for her. She can't make a difference if nobody listens to her. If they are willing to disobey direct orders just to shoot poor people or black people. You can't fix that. Is she giving up? Nah. She's just finally accepting that some things are beyond saving, they are bigger than her. So I'm glad she's now on the bat team bc they appreciate her and when she fights against the crows with them, they won't know what hit them.
