Poor Kiara man, if there's one this this show will do, it's make me get so attached to it's characters, I damn near cried when Callie read the letter and Stef put her head on Callie's shoulders. That is just a big thing for Stef because that's showing emotion, other than anger lol, she's letting her guard down because she's been so stressed about this whole situation. Rightfully so. The system is disgusting, the fact that just anyone can get given a whole human life to take care of, even if they're abusive, neglectful, or putting the KIDS life in danger is insane. The injustices in this show break my heart, it's so hard for anyone to live on the streets, especially a black teenage girl. I have always had a special love for Callie and Stef's relationship, they're so so so similar. Always with their guards up, makes reckless decisions in the name of justice or family, and aren't always the best with emotional connections. So seeing them be there for each other is so sweet I love it.

2021-06-03 04:41:09 +0000 UTCOne thing I love about this shows is the fact that I feel safe when watching it. like this Mariana storyline, you were saying how you didn't like that she was doing that and even though I couldn't remember i just knew that someone would come around in the end and tell her to be proud of her brains. I never watch this show in fear that a storyline won't be handled well or that they'll send the wrong message to the audience. I have that trouble with other shows, even one tree hill because it was set all the way back in a time with such backward views (I say all the way back, it was like 18 years ago π). But the fosters, They handle each social and political topic with such care.
