I love the flashbacks in this one they were used well especially Nathan telling Haley their love story to distract her.

It took me awhile to finally get around to watching this reaction because it breaks my heart every time. I just want the best for Brooke and Julian.

I just felt so bad for Brooke, because she has been through that so many times - with Angie, with Sam and now with this baby too. I commend her for trying so many times in so many ways to have kids. If anybody deserves to be a mother it's Brooke.

I feel awful for Brooke and Julian, but I just can't blame Chloe. In theory, it's easy to give up your baby for adoption. Like, if you're pregnant and young and don't believe you have a support system or are ready for it, you're gonna think it's easy. But then the second you see that baby and hold it in your arms, it's a person. And sometimes people just can't do it. I mean, we gotta remember she's had that baby inside her for like, around 9 months. She's bonded to her. And then learning that the father also wants to be in the baby's life, and will be there when you didn't think he would, that's gotta change things. So I completely understand why she couldn't do it. Is it unfair? Yes. It's kinda messed up that you can say you're giving your baby to someone else only to take it back when the baby is actually born and break their hearts. But also, it's not like she planned to hurt them. She truly didn't think she wanted the baby, she really did plan to give her to them. Things just changed when she was actually born. I mean, imagine giving birth and then deciding you want the baby after all, only to not be allowed to keep it because you already said you'd give it to someone else. That would destroy her. But Brooke and Julian deserve a baby! :(
Love the flashbacks! And I love seeing Naley's first kiss again, from different angles. I mean, we got to see Nathan's reaction to Haley kissing him this time! And he was so surprised, it was adorable! <333
Clay and Quinn were fun. And Jamie was so sweet! I also love the Clinn talk about kids! I love that they want kids! So sweet!
The crackers part was so fun! And the fact that right after Jamie said that he thought he was gonna be sick because of it, he decided they should get Julian to try it! Aaw! Then Clay calling for Julian, also wanting to get him to try it. Clay and Julian are such an underrated friendship tbh... They're hilarious! We don't get much of them, but their scenes are always fun!
I loved watching your face just drop as the intro started... You were having so much fun, enjoying the flashbacks and smiling because everything was so sweet, then the intro started and your face just fell... Hahaha
Brooke not telling anyone what happened broke my heart. I get why she didn't, and I honestly respect it so much. This was a happy moment for her friends and she didn't wanna ruin that because Lydia's birth deserved to be happy. But it just breaks my heart that she and Julian had to go through that while their friends were having their baby and celebrating. Just the fact that they were all celebrating and being happy, with no clue what had just happened to their friends, it hurts. :'(
I love that they acknowledged the fact that Haley and Quinn's Dad is called James James... Haha
And we've known Bob is Haley's middle name for ages. The James' constantly call her Haley Bob. :)

I'm usually not the biggest fan of shows having flashback moments in their episodes, but this was actually done really well and it just made sense having them there. It was really nice seeing them remember everything they've experienced so far.
This was such a bittersweet episode. While I was so excited for Naley that their baby girl is finally here, it simply broke my heart that moment Brooke and Julian understood Chloe had changed her mind and they weren't gonna get a child of their own after all. And though this only happened at the end of the episode it took away some of my happiness about Lydia being born. That scene where Brooke gets to hold her gets to me every time. Sometimes her strength is so overwhelming. She was so heartbroken, yet she put on a brave face and was happy for her friend.
Bob being Haley's middle name isn't a new thing at all. They first mentioned this as early as season 2 and they've mentioned it here and there throughout the seasons. I don't think it's strange that Haley would use that name for her own daughter. For her that name is a part of her and who she is and she simply wanted to pass it on to Lydia.

Those last few minutes will always get to me! A very fun episode to me, it was nice to look back on all the moments they've had. Haley's flashbacks to her kicking ass will forever be iconic. She is such a badass when it comes to protecting her family and defending herself. I've always loved that edge to Haley's character. As the shy geeky girl you wouldn't have expected this from her and thats the best part for me. I could go on about how amazing she is but I wanna get on to Brooke.
At first it was Peyton but Brooke easily took the cake for most tragic character on this show. Like she's been cheated on twice, kidnapped by psycho derek, attacked by psycho Xavier, neglected by both parents her entire life, can't have children, got in probably the biggest car crash of this show and every time she's about to get something good it's ripped away. I hate that for her, like how many times does she have to prove how strong she is. As much as I used to love Brucas there is literally no other person in the world I would want by Brooke side through this except Julian. An amazing character who I just adore with all my heart. I'm so happy Brooke has him, because he loves her passionately and unconditionally which is what she deserves. I was confused when I first watched this episode because I didn't think Chloe could just change her mind last minute, I figured there would've been papers to sign or something considering Julian and Brooke have already paid for things for the baby.
Other than this being Brooke's 50th time in pain, this was a fun episode. A lot of filler, but enjoyable considering they believed this could've been the last season. Clay and Quinn really do feel like filler characters though, they really haven't had a storyline together since the beginning of season 8 and Clay has had like all of 2 episodes where he's the main focus this season. They're labelled as main characters, along with Alex, and they get absolutely nothing and because of that they're kinda boring

The compilation of Haley fighting everyone is the best one though lmao 🤣

This is one of my favorites of season 8! Primarily for the flashbacks. Brooke and Julian will be okay, I promise. I hope you do a binge soon since you only have 4 more episodes left of this season!

I think they've mentioned that Haley's middle name was Bob before this. Quinn has called her Haley Bob before and her mom might have too. And when she was arrested in season 3, her initials on the mug shot showed that her middle name started with a B. So it wasn't just for this episode, but this was the first time they've explained it.

I like how the flashbacks flow with the episodes and they aren’t just awkwardly shoved in like some shows do.
