They aired this extended version cause it broke the record for most viewed iCarly episode. iQuit iCarly had 8.8 million views but this one had 11.2 million. Yeah Nick was always a bit edgier, like Drake and Josh for example. Drake had a different girl with him in every episode and was constantly seen making out with them. He was a fuckboy through and through and Nick didn't do anything to hide that characterization.

Team Seddie all the way for reasons that this episode itself shows. Carly is not even close to romantically interested in Freddie because she just doesn't see him that way. On top of that, Freddie's crush on Carly is obviously founded in surface-level kindness from when they were young. I love their friendship but I think that is all they should be. I also think Carly is misjudged by some here as leading Freddie on but his crush has been so open towards her that this was easy to fall into despite her not actually liking him.

(Also thanks for the shoutout lol) This episode was hilarious, and one of my favorites because at the time I loved the idea of someone having a crush on someone for a very long time, and finally getting to be with them! Then I shipped Seddie because I liked the idea of someone hating someone but they actually love them. (I was a child don't judge me lol) Now I ship Creddie for reasons I can't explain right now lol! I am always Team Seddie I love that thing that you said about how Freddie will always now be the guy who saved her life. Thats why I think what Freddie said was smart, that when the hype of it dies down a bit and if she still sees him in that different light and wants to be his gf then he'd be down. Also, Sam was 1000% trying to spare him from getting hurt in the long run (I dont think thats reaching), she does care about him and considers him one of her best friends after all.

i think it could be a little both. One, she knew Carly didnt like him and didnt want either of them to go too far with the facade. Two, at this time i think she was definitely crushing on freddie and maybe didnt know it yet, but was feeling that slight pain of seeing her friend 'dating' him.

I think one of the reasons Sam wasn't obviously jealous is because she knows that Carly doesn't actually like him. If Carly truly did like Freddie, I think she would probably be more jealous.
