BUT she was also the parent in this situation and she needed someone to say that to her. She needed someone to point out that it would be Chuck to suffer if she didn't do something. I mean, if you're in an abusive situation, yes, you're gonna feel trapped and a lot of people really do struggle to get out and all that. But when you have a kid and they're also in that situation, you HAVE to do whatever it takes to get out of that situation. By not telling the Police the truth immediately, she was putting her son in danger. I mean, if you were in an abusive relationship and that person was also hurting your son, would you not want someone to push you to get help like that. I feel awful for Chuck's Mum, I really do as she didn't deserve this either and it must've been horrible for her and I do believe she genuinely did try to protect Chuck, but as the parent in the situation, it was up to her to get her son away from him.

2021-08-26 18:39:51 +0000 UTCAs for this episode, it was so emotional. Badass Haley is back for another rendition of smacking the shit out of people and I'm all here for it. The way joy played Haley playing Dimitri was amazing. First of all, she looked super hot. Second of all, I loved seeing those small character breaks where we see she really hated every second of that conversation but was only doing it for the love of her life. The "Bring him home" was so powerful, we kind of saw her holding it together this episode to do what she needed to do but that last moment with Dan was the desperation back again. Quinn being the best and most supportive girlfriend ever is the reason this season she's one of my faves this season. The scenes with Clay and Logan had me tearing up, such powerful dialogue, and it really doesn't help that Logan is adorable, and has had such a hard life. Love that relationship they've built over the season and I love how much you understand the storyline Instead of judging it for how extreme it is. I love them bringing back Xavier, which is sadistic but it just adds the perfect level of drama for this super climatic season. I love the way that Sophia portrays her PTSD, the way she freezes up whenever she sees him, done perfectly. Tara is a huge bitch and deserves nothing. Love the of and Chuck scenes, especially the chuck scenes of everyone ensuring he knows he did nothing wrong. That kid deserves the world.

And It would also be cool to see your reaction to a lot more of your old reactions to OTH but maybe after you've finished.
