SIXTEEN Episode 6 Reaction! | I-.......what......

This was the episode where I knew Sixteen was not fake. When Momo's name is announced, Momo looks like a marionette who's strings are cut. She doesn't know where to go, or what do do, or anything. She has no plan. A few minutes later, when she walks down that hallway and slumps against that wall, that's heartbreaking even on the sixth watch (for me). Sixteen gave me a window to see that these are all very hungry, competitive girls. They have great talent, but also great strength. They are more than what they seem on first glance. If I had daughters, I would be happy if they admired TWICE. My favorite episode still to come, by the way.

I FINALLY CAUGHT UP! I realize that I have a level of bias for Momo now (ult bias level in fact) that I will never be able to remove entirely to view her performances on SIXTEEN objectively, but I always felt like she was kind of screwed over unfairly in all the performance rounds, and then obviously that "unfair" treatment swung the other way in the very end. I feel like each time Momo lost a round, she actually danced better than her competition, and then in the last stages she only lost due to the Korean live audience preferring the cute concept of the other teams. I actually punched a wall the first time I saw Momo get eliminated, because it never felt fair how she went out to me. (and this was AFTER I knew she was in TWICE) If I had been watching when SIXTEEN aired, I think I would have stopped watching the show and then looked like a massive idiot when she made it at the end. I have developed a crackpot conspiracy theory about Momo's time on SIXTEEN, but sharing it now would spoil some other things, so I will wait to share it until you watch the final episode. But I swear it makes sense. Loving the SIXTEEN reactions, and I am elated to hear you might keep TWICE content in one of these slots after you finish.

The look on your face when Momo was eliminated was like you had fallen into some sort of terrible alternate dimension where Momo didn't make Twice. And I feel you. Even though I've seen this before I was still tearing up pretty hard. You could tell she was just devastated. And I completely agree about not being able to image her not being in Twice. She's such an amazing dancer. I'm sure she makes everyone else in Twice a better dancer as well.

Well, box of tissues has been collected. Here we go! Momo is so strong and hard working of a person. Many people would have seen their dream snatched away and given up, but she just went straight back to practicing. I think what broke my heart the most was seeing Sana and Mina's reactions. They just saw their dream of debuting together crushed.
