I think it has a lot more to do with her being trans than it does about race. There haven't been many trans girl in high school shows before, of course people will enjoy her story or maybe find it more interesting than other cis-gendered girls' stories that we see in many shows.

Yes, Season 2 is coming soon so I hope Juli reacts to the other two episodes they had release some months ago. I really enjoyed Rue's story the most but that's just me personally. People seem to like Jewels story the most which is obvious skinny blonde chicks usually get more attention than their brown and black counterparts but that's a whole other story.

For Episode 5, I think it does matter how many partners you're with. You know cause of STDS. I would definitely want to know before sleeping with someone personally how many people they've been with. I know it may sounds judgemental or whatever but I think there needs to be a line personally.

It’s definitely been too long for you to react to it now, but there are two really great special episodes for this show, both solely focusing on one particular character (first one being Rue, second one being Jules). The writing is easily the best in the show and I think Jules’s special is borderline necessary for her development. I think it’s best if you are able to watch them before Season 2 because they take place soon after Season 1 ends

Basically as soon as I could give up YouTube, I was happy that editing was quite annoying to me and here everything can be seen properly. I was pleasantly surprised by you. Keep doing this for more series. There is something special about this show. Zandaya is something amazing. I couldn't stop enjoying the visual, the sound. Anyway keep up movies and series.

Enjoying your reactions and analysis at the end of each epi. I agree that Jules loves Rue but it’s not big love ❤️. I get why Nate is so messed up, but he’s still a d*$k. I wonder if Lexi has more than friendly feelings for Rue or is she the person in the group who looks out for everyone.
