I was a bit young when this episode came out but managed to watch the last 2-3 seasons as they aired and caught the rest on re-runs. Loved it so much. (Looking back, its weird to think that when this episode first aired, Neil Patrick Harris hadnt come out yet. Ive always known him to be open about it so for there to be a time when it was publicly known seems so strange to me)

But by the time we to episode 1x10 "The Pineapple Incident", it's solid gold. I watched this for many years with my friends; it was "our show." The show is very clever, and has some of the best continuity of any sitcom I've seen. So. Many. Callbacks. It's awesome! I think I'd be happy to sponsor a season or nine!

I had no desire to ever watch it because I have a really difficult time with watching TV sitcoms, especially most of them from within the last fifteen years. They're typically raunchy, stupid, and the humor makes no sense to me. I just can't stand most of the ones airing today. But then I eventually watched a few movies with Neil Patrick Harris and I fell in love with him as an actor because he's incredibly talented, so I gave in and decided to give How I Met Your Mother a shot. Boy was I surprised by how much I loved this show, especially Barney. This show is surprisingly funny, and incredibly written and directed. And I really enjoy all of the characters. I hope someone will pick this show up, or you will continue to watch it anyways eventually when you're able to come back to it. Thank you so much!
