It's not about him growing and maturing though. It's about him not being manic. When he did it, he was manic and truly thought it was a good idea because they needed the money. Had he not been manic, he never would've thought it was a good idea and he never would've done it. So unfortunately it really wasn't about maturity, it was about illness... :( I'm also pretty sure that since he was manic, consent is a tricky thing with his entire time working at the strip club and all that. Not to mention he was underage. So that just makes it all so much worse. Ian's sexual history is really concerning, and not because of the amount of guys he's been with, but because of the fact that a lot of the time, he was underage and sleeping with grown men. Or he was manic and not in control. :(
