there's a sequel to this book called where she went and it takes place 3 years after this. i own it but haven't read it yet bc i was so emotionally wrecked by this one i just was never ready to continue lol. i've looked into it though and it's told from his perspective and it's about them finding their way back to each other. a difference in the movie from the book is that when he's asking her to wake up and he's saying he'll do anything she wants including leaving the band or going to new york with her, he also says "or i'll stay away. i can lose you like that if i don't lose you today. i'll let you go if you stay." now that i'm looking into what the sequel is about i kinda really want to read it now lol.

I pointed out his bad behavior and I also understand his motives. He was always abandoned and that’s why he felt Mia leaving a big betrayal. Was he wrong? Yes. Is it normal for a young men to do that? Yes. Bc he is learning and ultimately every good thing he did with Mia weights more that his few mistakes. Maybe I didn’t explain myself better during the review. It was also very late, but I am glad that the reason why Mia wakes up it’s not only about the boy she loves but about everyone who was there for her.

2019-09-08 21:47:25 +0000 UTCI'll never understand why women love to excuse all the horrible things their precious "bad guys" do and are always trying to find reasoning behind it, while mistakes made by "good guys", who they even liked before, immediately tarnish their character and they become jackasses and their chances of redemption are erased. Makes literally no sense. Whatever, I got carried away on this.. just made me angry.
