Thank you so much for your reaction for this Pilot episode for Sleepy Hollow!! I really like this show so much when it was on. First of all... I love the novel, Sleepy Hollow, and any movie that has ever been based from the classic. So when I saw they were creating a show based on this legend, I was so excited. And this show certainly didn't disappoint me. I did grow a little weaker towards its end in season four, but overall, it's a really good show. I also love the twist in this show's storyline with having Ichabod Crane being killed by the Headless Horseman during the Revolutionary War, only to have him become resurrected through witchcraft in the twenty-first century. Such a brilliant twist and I love both the storylines within Ichabod's past, and in the modern world, especially when seeing him struggle with and act in awe of our modern world ways. Like he did with the automatic window in Abby's police car, and the fact that slavery has been abolished for over 150 years. I also really like Ichabod's and Abby's friendship that grows quickly right within the very first episode, as well as their banter with one another. I love actor Tom Mison, who plays Ichabod Crane. He plays his character so well and I can absolutely see him as Ichabod Crane from the novel and legends as well. He's brilliant. And lastly... I absolutely love seeing the historical storylines as they merge into the fiction of this show, as we get to meet the historical figures from the early days of our country such as George Washington, and all who are to come. It's a brilliant idea and so interesting, because I love History so much. Thank you again!! I can't wait for more episodes to come and I really hope you will continue to really enjoy this show. @Dana. This show is great. I used to.watch it. I won't spoil things. But the lead was a black woman a first around that time and she was treated like shit by the money ppl. The cast got along great. But Fox being Fox messed it up . Also everyone was shipping Abby/ichabod. Which didnt sit well with Fox executives. I think if the show was made now. They would be more open minded!
