Zodiac is a movie about a serial killer who uses cryptography and is interesting and based on a real serial killer but you have likely seen it, if not you should. Memento is also good and is interesting in that it plays in reverse, it starts at the end of the movie and goes backwards basically. Gone girl And maybe Law abiding citizen(eh?)
