But I will say... Literally everyone is in love with Elizabeth, and she just HAD to have MY man... Selfish! Hahahaha

For some reason I thought I didn't like this movie. But now that I've watched it again, I change my mind. Haha that was great!

Man, Elizabeth and Will's whole love story is so freaking epic, I remember being so utterly crushed when Will became the captain of the flying dutchman, and weeping like crazy in the cinema when I saw the after credit scene lmao I kind of hate Jack for not immediately stabbing Davy's heart and taking his place - because he hesitated Will was killed and his fate decided. On the other hand, Will is an honorable man and he would keep his promise and help the souls who died at sea to pass - where I don't really think Jack would be able to do that, he's a funny character but he's not very honorable lol

Iben Frederiksen

The end was so bittersweet, I was so happy they had a child and Will would get to meet him and reunite with Elizabeth, but it's only going to be for one day.... He's going to have to go again for 10 years..... and again and again.... He's going to see his love and boy grow old, even die.....Until someone else stab his heart, killing him and becoming the new captain...

Thank you so much for another fantastic reaction for the third installment of the Pirate of the Caribbean movies... Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End!! I love, love, love this movie! I do agree with you, that At World's End is very nearly tied with the first movie... Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl. Because the first is the original movie within this brilliant movie franchise, I love it just slightly above the rest. However, this movie was so, so close to being equal. I love At World's End, especially for Will's and Elizabeth's overall storyline and love story told throughout, as well as for the sheer entertainment of the battles throughout the movie, especially the major battle in the end. It's tragic how Will's and Elizabeth's lack of communication throughout Dead Man's Chest and as well as this movie, made Will believe that Elizabeth had fallen out of love with him and fell in love with Jack, while Elizabeth came to feel she could no longer trust Will due to his secret about fighting to save his father. And both of them suffered tremendous guilt because of their actions that nearly split them apart. But their storyline is beautiful and emotional. And I can't help but cry every time Will dies in the end when Davy Jones stabs him through his heart with the very sword Will made for James Norrington back in The Curse of the Black Pearl. So sad, and yet I cheered, cried, and leaped for joy the moment Will is resurrected as the Flying Dutchman rises up from beneath the depths of the ocean. I love it!!! And dang... did Will ever look good. :) Also... I absolutely love Will's and Elizabeth's entire wedding sequence amidst the big battle, as Captain Barbosa marries them. I love how all three of them are busy fighting Davy Jones' and Lord Beckett's crewmen, while their focus is on the marriage ceremony. I also love seeing the moment Will and Elizabeth finally kiss, as the two goofy pirates... Pintel and Ragetti look on with a smile on their faces, along with Jack the monkey. Such a beautiful moment. Of course... Captain Jack Sparrow is hilarious and phenomenal like he always is. However, the long sequence with Jack in Davy Jones' locker until he comes upon his friends who came to rescue him, is strange and a little too long for my liking. Parts of it are funny, especially the facial expressions Jack makes as well as the way he runs after his ship when the crabs begin to help him get the Black Pearl to the ocean. But for the most part... Jack was as amazing as he's always been and I just absolutely love him. Johnny Depp is phenomenal in his role as Captain Jack Sparrow, and no one could ever play this character like he can. And as brilliant as Jack Sparrow is, Geoffrey Rush is just as phenomenal as Captain Barbosa too. I love Barbosa's constant banter with Jack and their rivalry. I love that they constantly continue to try to outwit one another and to be the better Captain. I especially love the moments when Jack comes back with two spyglasses bound together to make his longer than Barbosa's spyglass, then the end when Barbosa steals away the Black Pearl from Jack once again while Jack steals the center of the map from Barbosa. Bravo! My only other real disappoint... while I really like Tia Dalma's character, I liked her so much more in Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest. While I do love the idea behind her also being Calypso and her love for Davy Jones, I felt that her character became weaker in this movie, especially in the end when she suddenly grew into a giant upon her soul being released from her mortal body and then strangely turned into a bunch of crabs before simply vanishing. I really wished we had gotten to see more of her and her power while the actress remained onscreen as Calypso. However, the maelstrom was incredible and seeing the Black Pearl fighting against the Flying Dutchman across from one another along the edges of the whirlpool was amazing. :) And then... I love the moment when Lord Cutler Beckett is finally killed when the Flying Dutchman and the Black Pearl turn and run alongside the ship in between them as they fire their canons, tearing Beckett's ship to shreds. Beckett definitely got what he deserved. Brilliant! Overall... this movie is just phenomenal. I love the storylines, the characters and the cast who plays them all, and I love makeup, the costumes, cinematography, choreography, and simply... the overall look behind this film. Phenomenal!!! Thank you so much again for your entertaining reaction to such a beautiful and fun movie!! I can't wait for your reaction to Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides! Until then...
