I'm not really a fan if dani. She clearly is pushing and shutting down Sophie and somehow its Sophie's fault. All the gurl wants is for them to work out their problems together. That's loner shit gets old fast when you're in a committed relationship.

I just feel like in every fight she has with Dani, while she comes from a place I can understand, I always feel like she REACTS in unhealthy ways and gets pushy towards Dani. You can't push people to open up to you, you can't force them and her way of handling the situations with Dani's dad always feel dishonest and misguided, like saying she'll just sign it even though she obviously doesn't really want to. Giving him what he wants just to silence him will never work, he'll just continue having things to say about it. And as a person needing a lot of me-time, I was with Dani on this one... again.

2020-01-07 21:54:49 +0000 UTCI have to say I'm close to not caring about Bette's relationship/storyline AT ALL. The love story didn't really connect to me and felt a bit neglected in comparison to others? I'd love to see more of her campaign though and I'm happy to see that at least the scandalous political stuff will continue. Also I cried so much this episode.. Finley's phone call with her dad must've been one of the most heartbreaking scenes I've seen in a long time. As a queer person there was so much behind those words, behind that very short conversation, it was so painful. And then also for all of their support for Angie and her friend, bc as a theater kid I can assure that there is nothing more special than to have family in the audience. And to have them give their best to show pride and excitement for a girl they barely know was so freaking heartwarming and beautiful.

I would hope Bette would be a mentor to Dani and help her not make the same mistakes. Also I really am hoping for Tina at the end of the season. Bette said she was the love of her life and that AINT Dani.

2020-01-07 18:58:48 +0000 UTCI'm torn. I ship Bette and Dani, but then again I could also see their relationship kind of as a Mother/Daughter type? Since Dani lost her Mother and she probably really wants a parental figure who understands and accepts her (their scene together really gave me that feeling). Then again I also see chemistry with them but I also ship Dani and Sophie...so it's all very confusing 🤣
