This show is just okay. My favorite characters and really, the only characters I actually like on it are Ed and Liz Thompson... the parents played by Sean Astin and Melissa Joan Hart. They are hilarious and really cute together too. In case you don't recognize him... Sean Astin is also the same actor who plays Sam (Frodo's best friend) in The Lord of the Rings Trilogy. I really love him as an actor, and as Sam in these movies.
