I think Lucas and Peyton's strong friendship base is what makes me love them so much. They go to each other for a lot of things and I feel like they have more of the deep conversations about what is really going on in their lives. I feel like that's what is great for Peyton and what she needs. Arguably in the beginning, I feel like Lucas is the person she is most comfortable talking to about the deep stuff. Even over Brooke. They are what each other needs in my opinion.

2020-03-17 15:36:41 +0000 UTCI was also more of a Brooke fan than Peyton watching it live, but it's insane how much Peyton has grown and how she is constantly overcoming her own fears, I love that. as for Keith, who said he was a fan favorite? back then the fan favorite was definitely Nathan lbr. Keith was only interesting in parallels to Dan and how different the brothers are. Other than that he was kind of boring tbh.

Lucas cheated on her while they were together with her best friend, Brooke slept with Chris while non-exclusively dating Lucas and Lucas hated Chris. Ofc Peyton was in this case just relying on her friend Lucas and immediately regretted even that when she found out him and Brooke were official again. I'm #TeamBreyton bc both ladies are extraordinary and don't deserve to be pitted against each other.

I never liked Lucas, there are actually times where I hate him more than I hate Dan. I don't really like Peyton either, but with her I have moments where I love her, but then she does things that reminds me of why I dislike her. I do however enjoy the scenes between her and Ellie, this storyline is so beautiful, it was so sweet seeing them bonding over their shared love for music. And ofc I adore Brooke and Haley's friendship. They're only at the beginning of their beautiful friendship, but I love them so much.

But re-watching the show through the years I’ve been growing to love her more especially during season 2-3 and watching these reactions through your eyes has only increased my love for her as character. As for Keith... I liked him but like you I always found him to be boring. So you’re not alone in that. With that said... There’s still more to be explored. Can’t wait for you to see what’s next.

Also because Chris Kellar isn't on the track lol It's also her first original since "When the Stars Go Blue" is actually a cover. Although, not a fan of the original myself
