2020-07-17 07:40:53 +0000 UTCYeah Juli u were wrong, Dan actually realises Hayley is good for Nathan hence why he threatens that jerk and finally calls her his daughter in law instead of a joke name like Peyton etc. Believe it or not i see Dan as Nathan who lost his Hayley and career and just grew bitter & bitter & he genuinelly believed his brother tried to kill him, i actually hate what he does but i also see there is a human deep inside who loves his sons & wants the best for them but goes abit it all the wrong ways. There has been glimpses of a caring regretful father and man...Nathan struggles the most because out of everyone hes seen the nice good moments with Dan. How can u NOT believe what Dan says to nathan at the end of the game, its so genuine & clearly the truth which is why Dan being Dan is so frustrating. Nathan is my fave and is so badass this episode, him making that shot with a cocky grin, i remember fancying him even more when first watched this lol

He was abusive to Deb and he was abusive to Nathan, he was abusive to Keith, he was abusive to Lucas. Everything he's ever said is to manipulate others and even if he was genuine, honestly who cares!!! He's a monster!!

2020-04-05 10:21:48 +0000 UTCI think Dan - in his own way - truly loves Nathan. He has no idea how to show it and he has no idea what that even means, but he does. Of course that doesn't take away from all the horrible things he did including killing Keith, but I do think what he said to Nathan was sincere. I think we are now starting the process of Dan wanting some sort of redemption - not that he deserves it, but that he wants it.
