One Tree Hill 3x22 FULL REACTION

Comments

After watching this reaction I can not wait to see julies reaction to Peyton and Lucas being together in S6 hahaha after being on team Brooke for so long lmfao i have ALWAYS been a Lucas Payton fan! Lucas and Brooke just never clicked for me because she's too high maintenance for luke

Nicole

i see lucas as a bad boyfriend but a great friend

Gandhi_18

brooke deserves waaaay more than lucas. time and time again lucas failed brooke which is why i never shipped them. lucas honestly sucks as a boyfriend but he’s at least halfway decent with peyton at times (he also sucks with her as you’ve seen in your s5 reactions) so i guess they were a better match with the better story. however through all of this the girls are WAY better than lucas. he doesn’t deserve them fighting over him. as you can tell lucas is one of my least favorite character as well as one of the worst boyfriends in television history and one of the worst guys in television history (not only my opinion but quite a lot of others too!)

Kayla

"Kill Rachel, kill Rachel bye" 🤣🤣 and when the limo is drawing "I'm sorry but kill them, I don't care" as long as Naley are Okay lmao. That craked me up too, I had to pause. We love you Juli, you are the best!

Jessiesweetheart

your willingness to sacrifice rachel for the sake of naley made that awful moment at the end so funny. I had to pause for about five minutes to recover from giggles. That was ana amazing reaction.

Kelsey J Parker

That’s funny because Brooke has been a horrible friend to Peyton the whole show. Never been there for here at any moments like for Ellie’ death it’s just a hug and at high school so.

Enzo

Also, Sophia's (Brooke) hitting the door and then slapping Peyton was amazing for me. Peyton was being annoying and bad friend this entire episode.

Bria Bey

Brooke broke my heart with her confession about how he doesn't let her all the way in. Whenever Brooke cries, I cry. I love Brooke and Hayley's friendship. They are much better friends than Peyton and Brooke. Peyton has betrayed Brooke too many times for me to just love them as friends.

Bria Bey

My love for Brooke grew season by season, I ALWAYS loved her but the chemistry between her and Lucas never was IT for me… you just know when a ship feels natural. I was a Leyton shipper back then and after re-watching everything from the start 15 years later I'm still is!

Marie-Eve Tremblay-Lebeau

became a patron just for this. so excited for season 4!

sandrinegeller

The closer you got to this episode I knew you'd freak out so much at the end! This season has been crazy and I'm so happy to be on this journey with you. Can't wait for season 4 and beyond!

Jenn Rose

can't wait for s4!!!

Sara Peterson

only watched your intro so far, but we love you Juli!! This is my favorite show of all time. Every single season is amazing and it's so fun watching them grow throughout the years. I love re-watching with you like its my first time watching again. You're the best :)

I second this. She’s not even ready for it. Which is even better.

Nathan

Also people always talk about how crazy season 3 is but forget that season 4 is even crazier XD

Rubi Moon

The Google Photos link doesn't work anymore

Rubi Moon

Awesome reaction!!

Corey

I second that. ❤️

thisismaria27

I’m not a big Lucas fan either when it comes to his relationships with women, but I feel like that was an impossible situation for the entire triangle. There was no way that none of them would end up hurt. And from his pov there was a stupid kiss in a life-or-death situation and that’s it. He doesn’t know at this point that Peyton is in love with him.

thisismaria27

I'm not a person who ships Brucas or Leyton. I ship Brooke with someone later and Peyton I ship with Jake. I understand where Peyton comes from but the fact that Peyton just confessed that she likes Lucas and then didn't tell her about the kiss is just really really bad and poor Brooke is always the one getting hurt from this 😢.

Rubi Moon

Honestly I think both Brooke and Peyton deserve better than Lucas (it was hilarious when you said he’d make a better writer than boyfriend) , if it could be that Jake was with Peyton and Brooke was with you know who then I would love that even more than brucas/leyton

fry

I agree with Brooke on this I’m sorry, when Peyton snaps at Brooke and asks if she loves Lucas it doesn’t really come of as sincere. I know that telling Brooke was the right thing to do, but you can’t be mad at Brooke for ending the friendship when she’s really hurt and why does Peyton get to be happy at the expense of Brooke?

fry

I used to casually watch oth with my sister when I was younger and two scenes that always stuck with me was the limo scene and another scene in s5, idk why but when I watched that scene when I was older I was confused because I always remembered it that it was prom and that Brooke and Peyton were the ones in the water idk why lol

fry

Lmao This comment is a 10.

Nathan

Can I just say that I’m a patron of quite a bit reactors but this channel? Is my favorite, I love this little community that we have and Juli you are so funny and you’re reactions make me so happy and excited and I love to read all the comments and see everyone’s different opinions on the show and that we can all be respectful of you and each other, so thank you and I can’t wait for s4

fry

I ship stelena so I know what it’s like to have your ship sink but brucas deserved better

fry

Brooke would have yelled her for not telling her anyways so Brooke’s the one who’s wrong.

Enzo

I'm so excited for season 4!!! And I am 100% on Brooke's side. Peyton should have kept her feelings to herself. She has done the same thing twice now. But she acts like she has done some great thing by telling Brooke. She said she doesn't want to make the same mistake again, well she just shouldn't have acted on it. And then the reason that makes me the most mad is that she turns it around on Brooke, by saying "you really didn't miss him" or "do you really love him". That is out of line and none of Peyton's business. It is as if she is justifying her behavior. Overall, I like Peyton but she is in the wrong here. (Also, Brooke wasn't saying that she didn't miss Lucas. She said that she wasn't dependent on him because she was growing more independent and reliant on herself instead of on a boy. Which is great!!)

miah.sun

exactly, I 100% agree. 👍

thisismaria27

Cant wait until season 4!

Gandhi_18

I have mixed feelings on the Brooke/Peyton/Lucas triangle this episode. I hated that in season 1 Peyton and Lucas snuck around behind Brooke's back, and never told her about it. It was super shitty. However they redeemed themselves for that. Now it seems we're back in the same situation, but... I don't consider it to be the same? Not really like last time at least. Yeah Peyton and Lucas kissed again, or... Peyton kissed Lucas. However, I cosnider the circumstances to be totally different. Peyton was bleeding out of her leg, traumatized, and possibly dying. I always saw it as more of a "if I don't make it out of here... Here is one last kiss, because I love you." She wasn't thinking clearly with the situation, and when it did hit her the next episode, she felt guilty. She wasn't sneaking around again with Lucas, waiting for him to break up with Brooke, her best friend. She told Brooke how she felt this time because she didn't want the situation to be like last time where she lost her best friend due to sneaking around with her boyfriend. She wanted to get her feelings out, and while that might have hurt Brooke, it is a step up. Perhaps Peyton should have been honest from the getgo after the kiss in the library. I get why she didn't though. Brooke would have been hurt, and thought something was going on. I don't think there was any way to spare her feelings this time. Unless Peyton had truly been over Lucas, etc. Yeah she could have chosen not to kiss him, but I don't hold that against her given the circumstances. I also understand the situation from Brooke's perspective here too though. She thought she could trust Peyton and Lucas, and this new information comes out. It feels like a betrayal all over again. Even f circumstances aren't the same here, to Brooke it still hurts that her best friend has feelings for her boyfrend, and they shared a kiss. Even if again the situation wasn't the same as it was the last time around. It won't feel like that for Brooke. So I get both sides. I don't find either in the wrong.

season 4 peyton and season 5 peyton are literally my position currently in my life lol

izzy

I agree that it hurts Brooke so much that her best friend is in to her boyfriend AGAIN. I think she has every right to be upset for a while. However, I think it’s being over looked that Peyton was honest this time. She could’ve kept hiding it and it would’ve been even more of a betrayal. For so long, Peyton has put herself last. She has wanted Brooke to be happy and she has wanted Lucas to be happy. Now, she’s finally decided to be honest with everyone and herself and do something for her. She hurt Brooke and I’m sorry Brooke felt that way. However, after everything Peyton has been through, ALONE for the the most part by the way, except for LUCAS being there, it’s time that she get some happiness and stand up for herself. It was time. This doesn’t make her any less of a person. She understands what the consequences are. She even tells Brooke she will bury it if that’s what she wants but she cannot lie to her this time. In my opinion, I feel bad for Brooke but Go Peyton! It’s about time!

Dydra Arnold

still continuing Outlander? and thank you for these reactions, I can't wait to see what happens next :)

Mikael Asp

I would like to know how a wedding for two 17 year Olds was able to get champagne 🤔

Christopher Nicholas

Quick fun fact: The song that Naley danced to was the same song that they made up and kissed in the rain during the season 1 finale and the fans were given the choice to vote on which song they danced to. God I missed how interactive the show used to be. Brooke and Peyton: God, I love Brooke so much. I really do. She has given EVERYTHING, absolutely EVERYTHING to Lucas and that relationship and it still doesn't feel like she's good enough or just not enough for Lucas in terms of him opening up his heart. There was no way Peyton was going to win in this situation. There was no right way to handle it. Not in my opinion. But something that always bothered me was her telling Brooke "Do you love him." I always held that against her because I felt like if she truly wasn't wanting to be with Lucas then I don't understand why she needed to hear that. Brooke was perhaps a little too relentless when dealing with Peyton because Ho's over Bro's is what they preach constantly. It kills me when those two are torn apart. But this is how it is when it comes to these three. It was always going to blow up in their faces. "I'm not mad, Lucas. I'm not mad." Those are the words of someone his heartbroken, worn down, and disappointment. I feel like she's always known that all roads would some lead back to Peyton and Lucas, but she had a tiny glimmer of hope that she would be wrong this time.

Nathan

thank you again Juli for your reactions to this fantastic season, I enjoyed watching you enjoy it immensely. Be prepared for an amazing fourth season! :)

thisismaria27

whew. I mean ... I agree with you on the point that no matter how and when Peyton would've said something, Brooke would've been upset. But I firmly disagree that this makes Brooke the bad guy here. And she is not throwing the friendship away over some boy, but over Peyton's breach of trust and loyalty and the utter betrayal of kissing Lucas (yes I know she was dying I'm just seeing Brooke's perspective here). This is not some bitchy "you stole my boyfriend" thing, it's about her giving Peyton another chance at friendship and going through that long hard journey of trusting her again only for Peyton to prove her wrong. And don't get me wrong, I love Peyton a lot. And yes she can't do anything about how she feels, but this sucks for Brooke big time. She was betrayed by the two people closest to her AGAIN. Should she have been a better friend before - debatable. Is she allowed to be upset that her best friend would hurt her the same way twice? - definitely.

thisismaria27

yeah she did. but I think no matter how she would've acted - when she said what or what she hid when - it would've always had the same result. Brooke would've been hurt either way and I totally get why. It somehow is more complicated but also more hurtful now because they went through it before.

thisismaria27

I think so too. Naley's wedding was just pure joy and such a well-deserved happy ending. Yes, Brooke was rightfully hurt and everything she said was justified, but this was just an impossible situation to begin with. No matter what Peyton would've done, Brooke would've been very hurt. This whole situation is hurtful. I think this whole Cooper/Rachel situation could've been avoided if he had talked to her and cleared up that no matter her age he wasn't interested in a serious relationship. Still ofc Rachel went totally overboard and caused all this cliffhanger drama. Nathan is just a damn hero that's for sure. Haley's scream still haunt my dreams though. It was so heartbreaking to watch.

thisismaria27

I mean, maybe you're right and the slap was a step too far, but Brooke was immeasurably hurt. She was betrayed by her best friend once again about the exact same thing and we all would probably go a step too far in being betrayed like that. I'm with Juli on this one - I love Peyton but she sort of had all of this coming and it's very tragic that their friendship is now ruined. Sophia's acting was TOP NOTCH. I always love when the show lets her talent shine like that.

thisismaria27

I agree. This was one of the most well-acted episodes of the show. Especially Sophia and Joy really got to show off their acting chops.

thisismaria27

a few "fun" facts about this episode: *) Sophia (who plays Brooke) planned a fake slap towards Hilarie (who plays Peyton), but Hilarie told her to go for it and she WENT for it. They used the first take for that because it was the most authentic reaction. *) the song that Naley danced to at the reception as their first dance was an online poll where the fans could pick out of three options. *) the writers planted hints throughout the entire episode as to who could be pregnant so that it was everybody's guess as to who that test belongs to and literally everyone is a suspect. *) there is an audiocommentary from the cast about the season finale out there (at least it was on the dvds and I bet it's out there somewhere too) with some really interesting BTS *) pro tip: don't google the showrunner, he's an ass - I like to think of it as they made this show IN SPITE of him

thisismaria27

Btw, are you gonna react to the bloopers for s3?

Anna

That ending had me so stressed out, omg. It's so Nathan to want to make sure everybody is safe, and I love him for that, but I'm not okay with him risking his own life. Haley's scream breaks my heart, I can almost feel it deep into my soul. This episode had everything a season finale should have. Naley's wedding was so beautiful and magical, they really are meant for each other. Gotta say that Brooke put into words exactly how I feel about Naley; they really do make you feel safe and give you hope. I can't not mention Sophia's acting in this episode, it was outstanding. She's such an incredible actress and that scene between Brooke and Lucas is so powerful, mostly because Sophia did such an excellent job with putting all that pain and emotions into her character. And once again the two people that means the most to her betray her. Yes, the circumstances were different this time, but a kiss always means something and they should've told her about it sooner. On another note, the way Deb told Dan it was her and not Keith who tried to kill him and then walked away was AMAZING. I love Deb, she's such a queen honestly. I can't wait for season 4 and for you to figure out who is pregnant; Rachel, Brooke or Haley. I like how they handled that whole situation with the purses and making us wonder who it really is. Anyway, great reaction as usual!

Anna

Wow! Joy’s (Haley) acting always gave me chills. I highly disagree with your opinion about the love triangle. Peyton did not deserve that slap. Brooke was a totally bitch honestly I can’t stand her. Peyton was trying to be honest and let’s be honest Brooke did not know about the kiss at this moment so that’s not about this at all. Peyton was honest with her she did nothing but keep her feelings away she did NOTHING but support the relationship after the kiss (SHE WAS LITERALLY DYING PLEASE) she made sure Lucas stayed with Brooke. And if she had burried her feelings like brooke said, later brooke would have found out about this and freak out as usual and react the same and that time I bet she would have blamed her for keeping this from her. Please she just told her how she felt because she did not want it to happen like the last time where she betrayed her, yes, but this time she didnt at all. The way brooke can throw away a 10 years old friendship bc of this is ridiculous. And lets be real Peyton is one of the character that has had so much shit happen to her she always feels alone and neglected and ahitty, it’s understandable she’s into lucas bc he always been there for her while brooke were NEVER here for her ?! Like for Ellie’s death, she waited high school to hug her and that’s it. PLEASE I would throw away a friend like that, she’s the WORST friend I’m sorry but for having a severe depression, I can tell I would not accept having a friend like her, she does NOT deserve Peyton. In S4 she’ll keep acting like a 4yo old women, that’s the friend she is. I’m sorry but she is. ridiculous. This is pissing me off how can people blame Peyton while Brooke’s 100% wrong and acting like a child.

Enzo

Peyton really blew it...I'm sorry but man did I not like her these past two episodes lol....Season 4 has some amazing stuff can't wait

Darius 12

I thought it was an excellent twist to have Haley put the bracelet on Nathan- but man did my heart sank when I saw it for the first time-knowing how the episode started- and it still does whenever I watch the episode. I have so much love for Nathan that I literally cried when you started to get nervous and what was coming :( Haleys scream haunts me. On a different note, I do feel bad for Peyton- she's honest about her feelings about a boy, but I also see Brookes side- and I too wish that they didn't fight over a boy :( I can't wait for you to start S4 as it is just as incredible as S3 <3

Andreas

I’m not Rachel’s biggest fan but I do understand her. She’s desperate to prove to herself that, after she changed everything about her personality and her body, she is worthy of love from somebody who would be deemed “out of her league” before everything that she did. I think that’s why she could never reciprocate her feelings for Mouth, because she didn’t see him as her “goal” as in what she fought to have from those decisions she made. Sure, he had feelings for her, but he was “attainable”. I really do love their friendship (when it’s good, anyway) but Rachel still needs to prove to herself that she made the right choices. At least that’s how I perceive her character. And I might be projecting just a tiny bit too lmao

Ritchie

Oh gosh... that ending!! This season finale is just so good! Nathan and Haley are so perfect- their wedding was beautiful. I’m totally on Brooke’s side with her fight with Peyton, since it really was Peyton’s second chance & she betrayed her. But, I think it could have went a complete different way if Peyton told Brooke sooner. Rachel was so out of line with the Cooper situation!! Our hero, Nathan :( I’ve LOVED watching your reactions to this amazing season & I think season 4 is just as incredible, so I can’t wait for more!!

heather

Brooke will always be my favorite character but I’m not sure I can defend her here. At least not entirely. Although, what Peyton said was entirely out of line; that Brooke didn’t even miss Lucas while he was gone. But Brooke took it too far with that slap, for sure. Also, Sophia’s acting?? Top tier. She’s SO GOOD this episode. Everybody is but that fight with Lucas is always something I think back to when it comes to Sophia’s best acting moments

Ritchie

Love the reactions!! Sophia really killed it with the acting, especially during the Brooke/Lucas fight, it’s one of my favorite acting moments of hers. And Haley screaming at the end of the episode kills me
