I've always enjoyed both and seen both sides of it as well. But let's be real, my heart will always belong to Naley!! Always and forever. I also remember watching these episodes and wondering who on Earth was pregnant and why they were trying to keep it a mystery lol! Season 4 is my favorite, so excited for your reactions!

2020-04-11 11:11:17 +0000 UTCAlso I’m not the biggest Peyton fan, but I really am upset about her and brooke’s relationship falling out, mostly because I think that Sophia and hilarie have great chemistry together and seeing them interact makes me so happy, but it was a nice friendship and it sucks to see it get thrown away over a guy

With that said, leyton shippers have to acknowledge the fact that the writers said that if Sophia and chad didn’t divorce, that the brucas break up would not have happened. That I believe is the only reason why they stuck that leyton kiss in there, because if you watch s2, it really seems like they were setting up for Jeyton and brucas to be the endgame couples

Probably from the scene on the river court where Lucas looks at Peyton and says “I’ll be seeing ya” after he beats Nathan on the river court. Something about that exchange and the way they looked at each other.. it just officially sealed the deal for me when it comes to them. However, I love hearing people’s reasons for being Team Brucas. It’s always fun to look at things from other people’s point of view. Keep the comments coming guys! (Spoiler free of course 😄)

2020-04-10 20:58:15 +0000 UTCI personally am not a Leyton shipper. I will always love Brucas more. I feel like the actress and actor who played. Brooke and Lucas real relationship problems held the writers back from fully pursuing Brucas because at the end of season 2 we were Brucas strong and heavy but then season 3 came around and they decided to insert Peyton back as an obstacle for their relationship. You are definitely right that the writers didn't give them a fair shot. Peyton has her moments of where i like her but overall she really frustrates me as a character.

2020-04-10 09:17:38 +0000 UTCLol It’s funny how Juli is able to play devil’s advocate with any character on the show except for the actual devil himself. But that speaks to how great the Dan character is. Hands down I think Dan is probably the most important character to any show ever created.

2020-04-10 09:12:37 +0000 UTCregarding Dan: I think he does feel remorse for killing Keith, which is why he wants to support Karen now. He thinks this would be some sort of penance maybe. I think that's also why he attacked Deb. He tries shifting the blame for Keith's death now that he knows he did that for absolutely no reason whatsoever. But what he did does affect him and he can't take it back and it's really refreshing to see him truly struggle for once - with his guilt, his concience and I'm excited to watch you see where his journey goes.

2020-04-10 08:50:50 +0000 UTCikr? there is soooo much to uncover that year, so much growth happening for everybody - Nathan, Brooke, Peyton, Lucas, Haley, even Karen, Deb and Dan. the who is pregnant question was such a hot debate if I remember correctly. I wonder how Juli will feel about that, it's very interesting.

2020-04-10 08:50:36 +0000 UTCI agree with you on Brooke. I feel like Lucas tried, but he just never got Brooke the way she deserves to be gotten by her partner. They are vastly different not just in who they are but also in what they need from a relationship. You can even see it in their 3x22 fight - Lucas thought that she was mad about the library kiss and didn't understand that he's been drifting away from Brooke for a long time now and this was just the straw that broke the camel's back. I think the writers pretty clearly pointed out why Lucas and Peyton would be more suited for each other - they have a sense of what the other person needs, they've built a strong friendship too and they're both introverted artists with bagagge. I just wish they didn't have to hurt Brooke that much in the process.

Although I LOVE Brucas, I also feel like they aren’t endgame. Lucas’ chemistry with Peyton just feels so much more real, but Brucas will always be in my heart lol. I’m so glad with the way they ended things- Brooke was so mature while telling Lucas how she feels. This is one of the many reasons as to why she’s my favorite female character! As for Rachel, I don’t necessarily like her, but she’s an interesting character & I enjoy her storyline- it’s hard not to feel for her! I love the moments between Karen & Lucas! Dan is just... well Dan. I feel so bad for Deb. And our boy Nathan, he’s really going through it :( So excited for more!

2020-04-10 05:56:28 +0000 UTCThis was a great premiere! It felt like so much happened just in this one episode. There are two people that I want to talk about, though. And if you remember just who I bring up in my comments 90% of the time, you will not be shocked that one of them is Ms. Brooke Davis. I think it takes a lot of maturity for somebody to realize that their relationship has run its course, that there was nothing there anymore. And if I look back at the first season, it really does feel like Brooke was very much more into Lucas than Lucas was into her. Even if he never cheated on her, I still think that would be obvious. They just didn't connect on that deeper level that is so important for lasting relationships. Yes, of course they loved each other, but sometimes loving each other just isn't enough. Like you said, Brooke has developed so much already! I love her development so much--it's a huge reason why she's always in my top 10 list of favorite characters of all-time. The other person I wanted to talk about was Rachel. I might just be overly trusting and an overemotional teddy bear but this is where I started to feel softer for her. She's so...lost, as to who she is outside of this projection of who she wants to be, as opposed to who she actually is. At some point, that projection became who she was and I think almost killing Cooper and Nathan made her realize that she's not a good person. But I honestly believe that, just from this episode, she's willing to change for the better. Or rather, has the potential to be better. Even if she is creepily attached to a man almost twice her age...

Also, I never saw Brucas as an endgame too, I don’t personally think they have chemistry compared to Leyton ! I don't love Rachel on her own very much but I like when she is nice to Brooke :) I like how their relationship evolved. I think that they clashed at first because they are similar in some ways. But I thought it was sweet when Rachel told Brooke to stay at her place.

That username was sending Peyton creepy IM's and at first she mistaked it for Ellie. She then put the webcam away for awhile and now that username is back now that she has returned to using the webcam.
