Such a fun and great movie and adaptation of Rapunzel it’s definitely a favourite Disney movie tbh.

2020-04-26 21:47:13 +0000 UTCI love this movie so much- it’s one of my all time favorites from Disney! Rapunzel has always been my favorite Disney princess; I just love the story so much! I agree with the previous comments that you should watch the How to Train Your Dragon movies, Big Hero 6, and Zootopia- some of the best animated movies from Disney! I’m super excited for your High School Musical reactions! I also think it’s a great idea to just go down the list of movies in the poll because even though they didn’t win, a lot of people still want to see your reaction to them!

2020-04-26 18:37:28 +0000 UTCZootopia & Big Hero 6 are def on my top10 animated movies ever! Alongside How to Train Your Dragon, Coco, and others... Idk if I like Zootopia or BH6 the most... Not that you asked for my opinion lol, but for me, theyre both so different, so idk tbh.. Love them both.. BH6 hit me more in the feels though.

I know kids movies usually try to draw a clear line between characters that are good and characters that are evil, but I always prefer characters that fall somewhere in the middle. Characters that struggle with making the right choices and have negative traits, like greed, selfishness, vanity, cynicism etc, are more interesting and relatable to me.

2020-04-26 14:57:01 +0000 UTCin the orginial fairytale version of Rapunzel (which was written hundreds of years ago by the german Brothers Grimm) Rapunzel's father keeps stealing so-called rapunzels (a sort of fruit from the neighbor's garden) and this neighbor is a wizard named Mother Gothel, who as punishment for stealing that claims his first-born child. she then takes the child when it's born and raises her in a very high tower, where you can only enter if Rapunzel lets down her long hair, which the wizard uses to climb up the tower every day. A prince is infatuated with RApunzel's singing voice though and asks her to let down her hair so that he could climb up. They fall in love and when Mother Gothel figures that out, she cuts Rapunzel's hair and banishes her into a desert egg and tricks the prince into falling from the tower where he lands in a thorny bush and goes blind. He then wanders around blindly and when he hears Rapunzel's voice again, he uses it to find her and they tearfully reuinte, where her tears heal his eyes and he can see again and they return home to her castle. so as you can see they took a few things from the original, but they turned it into an entirely different story, thank god. bc Grimm fairytales are usually super-brutal and really mysoginistic.

He's so different than the traditional Disney princes cause he's not a prince, he's a thief. I feel like he's so relatable. His dream is to live on an island, alone, surrounded by enormous piles of money lol. Loved the reaction!
