I think what's so interesting about Villanelle & Eve as a ship is that they're both really quite toxic as individuals *and* together/to each other. In so many shows, there's normally a clear side where one person is 99% of the toxicity so you don't root for them as a ship, you know? You know that one person absolutely deserves better. But I feel like Villanelle and Eve are both SO flawed that you're kind of like .... well sure it makes sense. I know you don't like Niko much and tbh he didn't add much to the story but that one scene where Eve slaps or punches him or whatever crossed such a line for me. I love Eve but that was the moment I knew that she was more matched for Villanelle than she was for Niko. That's just what's so interesting to me. Villanelle & Eve both bring out the worst in each other, but also the best I think which is such an interesting concept that a psychopath could bring out any good in someone. I dunno lol

I don't think the bullet grazed Carolyn. If you look at the positions of Carolyn's face and the target, it seems much more likely that Carolyn was cut by the breaking glass.

So your reaction to the Eve and Villanelle kiss might be similar to how you would react to a Supergirl and Lena kiss if that would ever happen.

And I think Villanelle only got married because she was bored without Eve around. It was just something fun for her to do but ultimately meaningless.

“Complicated relationship” Lol what an understatement 😆 It’s completely twisted and toxic, not cute and romantic, but obviously you recognize that, and so does any viewer who is not delusional. It’s entertaining as hell though. I don’t watch dramatic TV shows to see perfect, healthy relationships. Of course, for me (and you) the dynamic between Villanelle and Eve is so much more appealing because they are both women. If Villanelle were a psychopathic male assassin obsessed with Eve I wouldn’t even want to watch this show. I really liked your take on why Villanelle and Eve both kept their eyes open during the kiss, and why Eve initiated the kiss. I think was partly to distract Villanelle and get the upper hand to take her by surprise with that headbutt, but also because she actually did want to kiss her. But like you said, it wasn’t romantic. Eve’s feelings for Villanelle are extremely complicated and conflicted, and this isn’t some touching coming out story that will have a happily ever after ending. But it could end with Villanelle sacrificing herself for Eve. Each season has ended with one of them trying to literally murder the other so far, so I expect there will be another violently dramatic end, but in a different way.

I loved how shook you were by the kiss and how many times you rewatched it. You were literally me! About their eyes being open, I don't know if you remember but Eve in a previous episode said that Villanelle make her feel 'Wide Awake', I think it might have been a parallel to that.
For a sec I really thought they were killing Carolyn, I was gasping again! What an amazing episode.

I was so not expecting THAT to happen. I know we've been waiting for all these seasons...but...like...I still didn't expect it! Especially at that moment! Also we usually have to wait so long for them to get reunited but it happened so fast. I am still in shock!
