I have a feeling it’s going to have serious psychological effects on her. How could it not? I mean, Eve had seen and done some serious shit since Villanelle came into her life, but this is different.

2020-05-05 07:54:05 +0000 UTCNico was definitely Eve’s anchor to normalcy, which why she had so much trouble letting him go, and why things are going to be so different for her now that he’s dead. And of course she is going to fight her attraction to Villanelle and try to cling to someone who was actually good for her. As enticing as the idea of Eve and Villanelle actually being together is, obviously the smart thing for Eve to do is resist giving into a psychopathic killer who shot her for trying to walk away. I love Villanelle as a character, but Eve was right about Villanelle not truly understanding what love is, and I don’t think she and Eve can ever have anything remotely resembling a healthy relationship, but it makes for good TV and I’m interested to see where it goes. I’m very interested to see how Nico’s death, and her actually witnessing his murder, will effect Eve. I’m sure the effect will be drastic. She’s going to blame herself I think. She might actually go insane. She’s had her moments of insanity already, but this is something that could really push her over the edge.
